American power and steel - 2004 Dodge Durango
By Mark - December 27 - 10:18 amWe love the power and steel that protects us and moves our wounderful Durango limited. The kids love the great sounding DVD and we love them loving it. The comfort and style are great. The sure footed feeling in all conditions make it fun to drive year round. The gas MPG are not bad at all for what you get in return. We see 21- 22 hwy at 65-70 MPH and 19.5-21 MPG at 73-78 MPH. add in town and we average about 16.5 MPG. The only real change would be adding the lift gate rear window to unlatch for loading small item. We like it better than the Tahoe/yukon. 7/8 the size and much more fun to drive.

Only one in the hood - 2004 Dodge Durango
By casa - December 3 - 2:00 amWe where looking for something a little diferent that no one else had and yet my wife wanted to get out of the Mini Van era. We where after a vihicle that had some style room and drove like a car and not a truck. The power handling and performance of the vehicle was evident after the first test drive. We love the interior design as it is not cluttered and offer somewhat of a European look that is clean and egornomic.

Limited with a HEMI? Hooray! - 2004 Dodge Durango
By popologuy - August 24 - 10:00 amJust bought the Durango Limited with the HEMI: Hooray! I drove a Ford Explorer XLT and a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo: neither car matches up to this SUV. The older Ford (1999) was bumpy like a truck, no third row seat, but had great storage capacity. The Jeep was so narrow that we could barely fit two full-sized people in the back seat with the child safety seat in the middle. And a tiny trunk area: two golf bags at the most and the clubs only just fit between the wheels. But this Durango? Excellent! The ride is great, the power is awesome, theres a comfortable third row and I can take my most chubby friends and relatives anywhere with the kids car seat between them! Great SUV!

Yeah, its got a HEMI! - 2004 Dodge Durango
By zeroshampton - July 28 - 2:00 amIve owned 2 Chevy Tahoes and a Trailblazer in the past, but none of them can come close to the comfort, handling, performance, or price of my new Durango. I noticed that Edmunds website doesnt list the HEMI engine as an avilable option, but believe me, it makes all the difference in the world when it comes to performance.

2nd Durango - 2004 Dodge Durango
By RLW - July 17 - 10:00 amTraded our 1998 for the 2004. Ride is much improved and so is the mileage. Did not get the HEMI and am still satisfied with engine performance. Enjoy the 6 disc CD player and love those leather seats. AWD is a nice feature too. Although I have the 4WD option I have no intention of taking this thing off road. Too nice and too pretty. Ill save the off roading for for my Jeep or ATVs. Will use 4wd to get out of the steep driveway in the winter. Power doesnt pop you head back in passing gear but it still has plenty. Got the tow package and it tows my ATVs just fine. So far so good. The styling is growing on me and the graphite grey looks sharp.

Love my Durango! - 2004 Dodge Durango
By woodbutcher - July 17 - 10:00 amI was driving the normal family mini van, but decided to try the Durango. I fell in love right away. I have plenty of hauling capacity, I carry at least 2 to 5 children around and have plenty of room to go still. We chose the 3 rows of seating for the room to carry all that we want. Would recommend to any parent of children.

Move from Jeep to Durango - 2004 Dodge Durango
By pcc122 - June 11 - 10:00 amI had a Jeep 2001 Grand Cherokee, and i did love it expect it was to small in lodging. I was always lowering the seats to get more storage inside. I deciueded to trade it in for something bigger. I did check all the other suv on the market and thats the one i decieded to get. I have now 40 miles on it and i realy love the way it handles the road and espacialy in cornering. Now i have a seven seatter compare to 5 i had before. Now all my grandkids can fit in and no one is left behind.
