Yeehaaaa - 2004 Dodge Durango
By JAT - October 27 - 10:37 pmYes it is hard on gas, show me a SUV full size able to tow 8500 lbs that is not. Still better than my pops 85 two door chev. Stay away from Dodge service if possible, lots of local mechanics have the computer diagnostic available. No issue as of yet, just loving it. Kids love the whole dvd thing, wife loves being high up and safe thing, I love knowing I can pass at anytime.

If you drive the HEMI first... - 2004 Dodge Durango
By Azulojas - October 4 - 2:00 amIf you drive the HEMI first... You will be absolutely MISERABLE with one of the smaller engines. If you want to save money, DONT drive the HEMI! Interior is spacious and comfortable. Heated seats, DVD rear passenger entertainment system, 1 touch memory for pedal control, seat position, mirror positions, radio, and temp. control were adored by my wife. Fun to drive, good looking, TONS of features. We drove escalade, navigator, expedition, and DURANGO. Got ALL of the killer features in the Durango for about 10 to 15 THOUSAND less!! and by the way, did I tell you it has a 5.7 v8 HEMI!

Awesome SUV - 2004 Dodge Durango
By manolito31 - September 20 - 8:29 pmThis has been the best SUV Ive ever driven (and Ive driven Land Cruisers, Montero Sport, Montero, Murano, CR-Vs, Rav4s, Ford Explorers.) Its so quiet, pretty solid, pretty good off-road, all though I havent been able to get more than 12 MPG in the city, I still recommend this vehicle for everyone looking for an spacious car for the family and pretty good on long trips.

Fun to drive - 2004 Dodge Durango
By Gatorphin - May 29 - 2:00 amJust bought a 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7 L Hemi limited model in a graphite color w/ leather. Very nice. Handles raod well. Boy does it have power! 335HP. Sucks down gas. About 11 mpg in city. DVD player is a must with small kids, I never hear them anymore. Incredible turning radius for a big SUV. Sits very high. 4 inches higher tham old Durango & 11 inches longer. Great SUV!

Nice Ride and Powerful - 2004 Dodge Durango
By Durango04 - May 29 - 2:00 amMy wife and I looked at nine different SUVs before we discovered the new Durango. We would never have considered the earlier design of the Durango as it was too small but when we test drove this one, we fell in love with it. It handles very well, the transmission is smooth and the suspension gives a comfortable ride. We chose the SLT and upgraded to leather with the hot sound system and of course the HEMI. If you are going to buy this vehicle dont waste your time on the 4.7l or the 6 cylinder...youll be happy that you went with the HEMI.

any where i want to go - 2004 Dodge Durango
By sally sowards - January 10 - 10:00 amOver all this is an excellent SUV. I have the AWD in my Durango and will never own anything else. AWD and my Durango has proved its stability to me time and time again in all weather conditions. Dry, wet or snow on or off the road. (nothing will go ice) This is a very reliable and very safe SUV. With no fear my grandsons and I have been all over the place in it.
