This is the smoothest riding truck you will ever drive. Feels like you are floating. Excellent cargo space, drivers seat is high up so you can see everything. Love the new design (Which I did not like at first, you grow to love it quick). Strong V8 engine. Fuel effeciency seems a little low. Its a beast of a truck.

Weve owned a 2000, & 2002. We have a 2003 & 2004. The difference between the 2003 & 2004 is night & day. The 2004 not only is beautifully designed, it rides great. We take my softball to indoor off season practice every Saturday. The experienced players ride in the 2004 and someone always has a DVD to watch. Poor rookies, they have to ride in the 2003.

We purchased the "Hemi" with all the features except the "navigator" system installed. And, so far, have not been able to purchase. That is really our only complaint; and we were told by the dealer it would be several more months before it would be available, and since our reason for the purchase was for travel, we would like to hear when it is available.

Just got my 04 Durango 4WD Limited that was ordered in December. I am WAY impressed. It is fast, comfortable, well built, quite, and much better than the 02 Durango I had. I love this car.

The ride and handling is suburb for such a large vehicle. It truly handles like a much smaller SUV. I rated the 4.7 but actually the Hemi is truly a great engine and well worth not getting the best gas mileage. Comfort is unparalled.

We just brought 04 Durango limited with all bells and whistles for under 7000. with 137000. In my 30 yrs of marriage to a ford guy,I stuck to my guns when buying this sweetie. LUXURY ABSOLUTELY !!! you name it, she has it.. Hubby argued wanted a another Ford, since Ford Explore engine seized. Nope I told my hubby my money my pick. car dealership had all the recall fixed by dodge technician before it came home with it. Most importantly I just brought a small used ero lite camping trailer and we needed SUV to pull it. The former owner took real good care of it. She did put some over sized tires on it, which make you think climbing into truck. love height and underneath clearance. safety for everyone riding in it. With grandkids and elderly parent that goes long way with me. We have had Nissan, Ford, Eagle, Chevy, Miata(still have) GMC all driven into the ground. But this is dream come true for this old woman. Cant wait to take to w/ trailer to Yellowstone next spring for our 30 anniversary .

A lesson learned, never buy a redesign vehicle within its first year of production. It has not even been 30 days of ownership and the vehicle has been in the shop three times. First, the radio went out, then it had electrical failure twice. Lets not talk about the gas, I purchased one with the Hemi @ 14MPG(sticker indicates)or more like 10MPG. Dont drive around town with a/c, you will need to refill. I will not have this one for long, I am going back to Chevy/GMC.
