  as single dad raising seven kids by myself ive found a new luv with my durango it fits us all, it isnt as big and bulky as most suvs and isnt as expensive either

  Lots of room and good power. DVD system is hard to see if you a small child. Wish it got better gas milage. Wish the drivers seat would go lower. Excellent turn radius and handling. Glad I bought it.

  I love this car. The change in the torque makes it a very smooth ride and I love driving it. Only regret - that I did not get me a HEMI!!!

  The 2004 model year is much larger than the older models and rides much smoother. The older model would get a little squirly on dirt roads. The large V-8 Hemi has loads of power, and can tow most anything the average pereson would wish to tow.

  Never considered a Dodge(bad experience with a 92 Dodge)till I did a lot of reading and decided to give them a second chance. Very comfortable and very easy to drive. Suprisingly quiet. Running boards a must.I gave fuel economy a 7 b/c my former car,a modified 99 Mustang,averaged about 17- MPG. Durango doesnt represent a big change. Only got 157mi so far, but the avg. fuel economy says 14MPG. Should get slightly better in time. I gave 10s on build quality & reliability, but these are still pending. Ratings not accurate till I get more drive time & miles behind it. For now, theyll get a 10.I plan on giving periodic updates.

  4.7 L V8 has plenty of power! Perhaps should get better mileage. Test drove Hemi...too fast! Sharp turning radius. Smooth ride! Easy access to backseat. -DVD Entertainment Package -$350 -Kids Favorite DVD -$16 -Individual Wireless Headphones -$40 -The silence from 3 backseat passengers under 12 ==========> PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Mr. Durango (as my kids call it) - 2004 Dodge Durango

  This new Durango surprized me in many ways. I owned a 2000 SLT and this one is light years ahead of it as far as fit and finish, refinement, comfort, quietness, and rear-seat comfort. The exterior still is taking me a while to warm up to, but the interior is magnificent. It drives so quietly and smoothly, its hard to believe im driving a 5000+ pound vehicle. The stereo is the best ive heard coming from the factory and I love the new head unit. Ive got the 4.7L and its a great enging (once again, very quiet and refined). I had an 03 Ram with the Hemi and thats a great engine. If towing is needed, then definetly go with the Hemi.

  Moved from 1999 Durango. The improvement is dramtic!! Better fuel economy than 99 model. Better ride. More interior room. Great turning radius. Would do it again! Ours has the Hemi engine, worth the money.

  Almost Perfect - 2004 Dodge Durango

  Ive had my Hemi Durango for a month, and love it. Fun to drive, quiet, comfortable, looks great, refined, good stereo system, and it goes. (Be careful, you are probably going 80 when you think you are going 60.) Compared to competing vehicles, I think the Durango is a steal. I feel a bit smug driving it around and I have to admit I enjoy "looking down" on all those little, teeny, tiny BMWs, Mercedes, Lexi, and Acuras.
