  • Awesome Durango - 2004 Dodge Durango

I love this vehicle. Outside of the purchase price...1st one bought at this dealership I love it. Very fun to drive and the MPGs are not that bad for a vehicle of this size. We are getting over 20 on the highway. Resale value sucks though just looked it up and lost 6 grand allready. I wish the 3rd row seat layed flat though.

Had it a month. Im in love. And this from a guy who traded in a Mustang GT convertible. Eased the transition with the 5.7l Hemi and the sunroof.

I test drove several other SUVs but I kept coming back to the re-designed Durango. It was the quietest, most smooth riding, and best handling of all the ones I tried. Not only that but the third row of seats made it possible to comfortably fit all our family in one vehicle. We drove it through the worst ice storm in recent history of Western Oregon last winter. The Durango was sure footed and solid over wind-driven icey interstates and country roads. One final clincer in our choice was Dishamn Dodge in Spokane, WA. There was no hastle, no pressure just a helpful staff prior to the sale and every time we have been back.

  • Great hemi rest of it not so great - 2004 Dodge Durango

The Durango hemi offers plenty of room and comfort, but falls way short on quality. In 4 months I am now in the process of replacing the radio for the second time, first the display was going blank and now the CD changer is broken. The trim inside looks like it is from a cheap economy car, and there are cosmetic defects everywhere. The tires are awful--these Goodyear Wrangler SR/A have limited dry traction, horrible in the rain, and I expect even with AWD to have to replace them for the winter season. AWD on lousy tires means slide with all 4 tires thats all. Gas mileage is worse than I expected-- awful around town, ok on highway.

Even though I have had this car for a while, new "bonus" item keep appearing! All I can say is that this vehicle has been thought through by the builders to a point beyond expectation! I have been waiting for a vehicle like this for several years. I am ecstatic - I have finally found it! Buy it, you will love it!

  • Love my Durango - 2004 Dodge Durango

This is my first SUV since a 1985 Chev Blazer disaster. (it lived up to its name and caught on fire) I have had several Dodge Ram trucks and have a 2004 regular cab now plus my Durango. This is my first 4 by 4 ever and so far I love it. It is by far the quietiest vehicle I have ever owned (and I have owned probably 45 new ones in my life time). I had a hemi in my Dodge Quad cab I traded in and really wanted a hemi but none were availabe so I settled for the 4.7 and am satisfied with it. . Since I dont tow, the 4.7 engine is more than adequate for this fine machine. It accelarates very well and runs smoothly.

  • Durango Limited Hemi is a GREAT SUV!!! - 2004 Dodge Durango

My wife says I have an obessive compulsive disorder when it comes to shopping for new vehicles, but she had to admit it paid off this time! We both hate minivans but she is intimidated by HUGE SUVs. We drove Tahoes,Yukons,Expos ect...and nothing seemed to work. Then we came across the Durango, right size, right price, and a HEMI!!! Driving it confirmed this was the vehicle for us! Weve had it for a month now and it just gets better and better. The Hemi is getting 18MPG on the highway and the ride is awesome! Im convinced this thing rides better than a Navigator! Did I mention the Hemi, the thing will spin the tires till the traction control kicks in. Tows my 6000lb boat like nothing!

  • I liked it so much I sold the Benz - 2004 Dodge Durango
    By -

My CLK 430 was in for service and the dealer gave me an 04 Durango loaner. As a car snob was I mad I could not get a Benz, but after about 10 minutes I really liked it, and it didnt even have a Hemi! After having it all weekend, I found it to be one of the best cars/SUVs I have ever driven. Two weeks later, I traded the Benz in on an 04 Limited (I did have to get the Hemi), and have loved it ever since. Before I bought it, I did test drive all the others, and they could not even come close to this car. The Hemi is a must, but dont test drive a Hemi with plans of getting the smaller engine, because you wont. Ride is great, POWER is the best and comfort could not be better.
