Horrible Blind Spots! Bad with Car Seats - 2004 Dodge Durango
By cwgrlup726 - December 17 - 8:43 pmThe A-frame on the Durango is horribly placed. It causes a huge blind spot for the driver. They say it is for better stability during a rollover accident, which you will definitely need because you cant see where youre driving! It is also an extremely tight fit for carseats. If it will be placed behind either of the front seats, you will need to pull that seat very far forward to make it fit (which doesnt make for an easy ride up front.) Not a problem unless you have 2 kids in carseats! My Durango depriciated $25,000 in 2 years! Never again will I buy one of these and I am making sure everyone I know hears about it.

Great Investment - 2004 Dodge Durango
By hoggness285 - November 15 - 10:00 amSo far the durango has been an excellent buy. It was bigger than anything we looked at, and we received $5000 in rebates. The 4.7 is plenty of engine and the ride is smooth and quiet.

Would buy it again - 2004 Dodge Durango
By milos janovsky - September 23 - 9:29 amComfort and easy towing at an incredible price for its value. Highly undervalued by rating companies who are still confused by its previous model.

2004 Dodge Durango/5.7L Hemi - 2004 Dodge Durango
By cmccfp - August 28 - 10:00 amI own a 1998 Durango and always enjoyed driving it. But, the 2004 5.7L Durango with Hemi and L package is driving heaven. This vehicle is responsive, comfortable, drives like a fine automobile, is loaded with features and just looks great.

Disappointing - 2004 Dodge Durango
By Rick - August 16 - 6:47 pmWhat sold me was the smooth luxury car like ride unlike many other SUVs. Lots of electrical problems with this one from the very begining. Latest episode left my wife stranded due to failure to start and had to hitch a ride to the airport. Had just gotten it out of the shop for other issues. It is back there again!Poor fuel economy.

04 Durango Limited 4.7L - 2004 Dodge Durango
By Tony - August 10 - 5:01 pmLove the Durango. The 4.7L engine has enough power to get the truck around w/o guzzling . I get about 18 to 19 MPG when I take it easy on the gas. I have had no mechanical issues with the car and would definitely buy another one.

I love my Durango - 2004 Dodge Durango
By BNJ - July 21 - 2:00 amI test drove many different SUVs & found the Durango to be a quality vehicle that is fun to drive. It is very responsive. It carries my wife, five children and myself in comfort and safety. I love it! Service at the dealer is also fantastic!
