• Striking looks for a sedan, Hemi V8, firm handling, refined ride, roomy and comfortable interior, reasonably priced.

• Looks plain from behind, some low-grade interior plastics, hefty curb weight.

  I have really enjoyed having the power of a hemi and still be able to get 24- 28 mpg. Charger R/T is really fun to drive and handles great!

  Just after we purchased the car we took it on a long road trip with 4 adults and one child in a car seat. The car was extremly comfortable and had excellant pickup for passing and hills. No complaints at all.

  Traded in a 2005 Magnum RT, the wife couldnt get used to a "wagon" look but loved the looks of the 2006 Charger. The interior seating is a lot more comfortable than the Magnums and the torque is greater. Upgraded sound system is unbelievable and the dual climate control is a plus since the wife is always freezing! The steering feels much softer, ie: caddi style. 20mpg isnt bad considering the power involved, but I didnt buy it for mileage. Its an awesome ride and if you drive an RT version youll pretty much have to talk yourself out of purchasing it. Thats a promise.   The Dodge Charger R/T exceeded all my expectations. Acceleration that leaves other cars in the dust. Smooth and quiet freeway driving, luxury features like leather, full power and heated seats at a rock bottom price and a trunk that can easily fit a large families luggage.. This isnt a normal Dodge, the fit and finish is up to par of the European imports. There is no wood but really who needs that? Telescopic steering and power pedals are far more useful

  The Charger is the perfect blend of family car and performance car. The base 3.5L V6 maintains good balance between ample power and decent fuel economy. The SE is well appointed, without all the deluxe options that drive up price. The Charger is the perfect car for a family man (or woman) looking for sport styling that turns heads, while maintaining low cost of ownership and a funtional family vehicle.

  I went to the dealer to look at the 300C, but I was blown away by the new Charger. One test drive was all I needed to know that this is the car for me. Ive had Mustangs in the past, but I was not impressed, nor do I think that the new Mustangs provide everything that the new Chargers do. I dont mind if the Charger is a couple of heartbeats slower than the Mustang - Im willing to give that up for the ability to seat four comfortably & put a weeks worth of groceries in the trunk. The new Charger rocks, plain & simple!

  This car is unbelievable! With a 6.1L, I assumed gas mileage would be on the low side, but I am so taken aback by the car itself I feel it is a PLEASURE to burn fuel. If I put on Metallicas FUEL behind the wheel I can barely keep it below 65 MPH (which does not even require fourth, or fifth gear). It rides at a smooth 2200 RPMs at 75 MPH!!! I am flabbergasted it is a DODGE...

  I LOVE this car! Everyday when I drive to and from work, this car makes me SMILE...I get tons of looks (and several .."that thing gotta Hemi?"). It is comfortable inside and menacing outside. I love the engine and the brakes (hate the brake dust - tho). I had my brother-in-law, who has done paint and body work for 25 years, check the car out before I purchased it...and he said it was the best fit and finish he has seen on a domestic auto...period! Kudos to Dodge for cranking up the Chargers Smiles per hour!
