Simply Awesome! Must Buy! - 2007 Dodge Caliber
By Ty - October 27 - 9:43 amThis vehicle both looks smooth and runs smooth! It is an automatic eye catcher and is sharp both inside and out. I have been blown away by the vehicles smooth manual transmission and by the small yet powerful engine!! The commercials are right, "Its anything but cute!!!" The interior is very spacious and very comfortable to ride in. This vehicle is the definition of a smooth ride and I am glad that I chose this particular vehicle! The economy of this vehicle is simply outstanding! Great gas mileage for the size of the Caliber! I had to wait about 3 months to get my Caliber... but trust me, it was defiintly worth the wait!

All around good American car - 2007 Dodge Caliber
By Angel - October 18 - 4:23 amI love driving my Caliber. Its very cute but it also has a masculine handsome feel and handle to it. We also own a gas guzzling SUV, so when we went looking for a second car we wanted something safe, fuel efficient, roomy and stylish looking. Also with having 2 toddlers we definitly needed 4 doors with leather. Caliber was our man or woman! Love it

Great Little car - 2007 Dodge Caliber
By NJGUY - October 7 - 2:00 pmIve had the car since February. Handling is excellent, car is just fun to drive. The styling is edgy enough to make it stand out. The inferno red doesnt hurt either. Shortcomings are the rear visibility when backing up, you really have to get used to it. The other thing is I upgraded to the 6 disc nav system, dont do it. You lose the MP3 input and it just really isnt user friendly on the music side. Had I known I would have stuck with the standard radio and CD and bought a Tom Tom. Other than that, the car has been good.

Cheap car - 2007 Dodge Caliber
By Alex - September 29 - 12:41 amDont buy this car, i bought a 2007 dodge caliber feomba friend of mine and ro my surprise mavis couldnt do the alignment saying that the front cradle is corroded beyond imagination. They told me that the part still under warranty so I went to the dealer in Connecticut, they inspected the vehicle and said that the part inbfact it was covered by the warranty but in order to replace that part they needed to replace al the rusted parts around the cradle, they didnt said broken parts, they said corroded parts. Finally they gave me a appraisal for $2, 500.00 in order for them to replace to part under warranry. I refused because to expensive. A local shop is charging me 1000 to replace the part, I have no choice but to do it, this under frame, cradle appears to be made of a really cheap metal...

My New Ride - 2007 Dodge Caliber

The second time I drove the car it just really clicked and I liked it. The toss up was between the Caliber and Jeep Compass.The interior is identical to the Compass but for the price difference I went with the Dodge. The night I drove home it was pouring and extremely windy and it handled great!

By kjd - August 12 - 11:56 pmI went with a smaller vehicle for gas reasons. I find myself putting $40-$50 a week in this car. I think it was over-rated when they put the gas mileage on the vehicle. I also had it in the shop for road noise,"the tires were deflated to put into showroom, and never were inflated for me at pick- up". It still sound like a mac truck from the inside, it is so loud that I cant even hear a siren when its behind me. I have to turn the radio up loud to just cover up the road noise. I really wished I had shopped around more before purchasing this vehicle. It rides like a lumber wagon!

Ping - 2007 Dodge Caliber
By Fred - August 12 - 3:36 amI love my Caliber (still). It now has 21,000 miles and I enjoy its exterior appearance and interior comfort. Its drivability is alright. My Caliber was recalled for the "flash" that was supposed to have taken care of the brief pinging noise the engine makes immediately after shifting into gear and accelerating. My car still makes the pinging noise and I am concerned this will eventually cause damage to some engine component. My service man at the dealer told me I should try running the car with premium unleaded to see if the ping goes away. I just looked at him and laughed as I had already tried this. Seem Mopar doesnt know how to fix the product it designed.

By Moz - August 3 - 3:10 pmI bought the R/T fully loaded, with chrome rims. The car is great for those who are practical. It is not a luxury car. So dont expect it to be. I use it to go snowboarding in VT (live in NYC) and itÂ’s perfect. The engine has weak acceleration and is loud but that is a 4cl engine Gas mileage is 28mpg at 55mph, 23mpg at 70mph. The gas mileage gauge is useful. Who drives 55 on the thruway? So who ever says this car has good gas mileage, stop!

A great little car! - 2007 Dodge Caliber
By Veggie - July 28 - 1:23 pmThis is a very stylish car on both the exterior and interior. It is small and easy to park, but carries tons of stuff. I love that it both rides up high like and SUV and handles really well like a sports car. Im 62", and I have plenty of head room and look good driving this car. I have owned only imports up until now - if America keeps coming out with cars like this I will never need to go back.
