Excellent car for the money - 2001 Daewoo Nubira
By pdog - May 27 - 2:00 amI was looking for a used car at the dealer for around 10,00, I test drove a 97 civic and a 99 toyota corolla, I was disappointed with bot. I was talked into driving a brand new nubira that was priced at 10,500 after a rebate. It drove much nicer than than the 2 used cars, and it came with a new-car warranty...SOLD! Ive been pleased ever since. (Even though it is disconcerning that Daewoo has since stopped selling cars here and filed for bankrupcy).. The car has been totally reliable, plenty of power, great fuel mileage, etc..like any cheaper car, if you maintain it well, it will last.

By Freya - May 17 - 2:00 amIf you want a great car at an amazing price, this is it. Ive put on 25k in six months, in extreme Florida heat, doing high speeds, and it is incredible. Safe, secure, good for my fat body and tall long legs (Im five foot ten inches!). I highly reccommend this car for anyone!

My first real car - 2001 Daewoo Nubira
By MaryMary - May 3 - 2:00 amI just bought my Nubira, and everyone seems to be concerned with the fact that no one drives them. I love my car so far and would not be happier with anything else. It has great pick up and a very smooth ride. I guess Ill just have to wait and see how hard parts are to get. Its a leap of faith that Im happy I took so far!

daewoo nubira rox - 1999 Daewoo Nubira
By mitchel - April 17 - 2:00 amMy idea when I think of a car is the daewoo lineup whether it is styling comfort or just something fun and unique. My daewoo that I have had for 5 years now has shown me the world and gives me the spiffyness of a sports car.

ALOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK! - 2000 Daewoo Nubira
By BIG T - April 4 - 2:00 amWE HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR THREE YEARS AND HAD NO MAJOR PROBLEMS. SOME INTERIOR PARTS LIKE DOOR HANDLES HAVE HAD PEALING CROME AND DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE IT WOULDNT STAY IN THE UPRIGHT POSSION. OVER ALL I CANT BELEAVE THIS COMPANY WENT BANKRUPT, AND THAT GM DIDNT STEP UP AND TAKE CARE OF THE U.S. CAR MARKET OWNERS. THIS HAS LEFT A BAD TASTE INMY MOUTH AND I WOULD NEVER BUY A GENERAL MOTORS

never a problem - 1999 Daewoo Nubira
By daddy - February 11 - 2:00 amA fine car. Inexpensive to buy (it was loaded) and to run. I never had a problem so far. It is fast, reliable and looks nice. Its a real pity that the company went under, because it would have been a great investment. Unfortunately now the resale value went to the pits, but its a fact unrelated to the quality of the product. I guess Ill just keep it until it dies.

Great Car - 2002 Daewoo Nubira
By Starfish - January 22 - 2:00 amI have owned my Nubira since Nov of 2000, the car has been through a lot of work, at 50,000 and not a major problem yet (knock on wood) the car has been extremly reliable, nothing major. Yes it is hard to find parts but if it works great then why do u need parts ? This car can stay with your hondas it will beat your civics and neons, it provides great handling at high speeds and its k on the gas. I believe this car can hug turns at speeds over 90 mph and its always something that make people wonder why kind of car is that. Fun to drive and good power, not enough but good for a 4 cyl. eng.

My Nubi, the commuter mule - 2002 Daewoo Nubira
By ckrockett - January 3 - 2:00 amthis is actually a 2000 nubi cdx wagon. all bells and whistles except sunroof and cd changer. love the car. swore Id never own a new car (since my 67 Datsun RL411 SSS), but a week in a rental nubi sedan was enough to convince me. its a very economical, but fun-to-drive car, so the bang-for- the-buck quotient works for me. great for the commute, very comfortable on long trips, flies low with ease on the open flyways (aka I-5, etc. here in california), and VERY nimble. Ive autocrossed the car (thats road-racing in a parking lot for most of you who dont know), and its only weakness there is lack of low-end power.

By robert pullnam - January 2 - 2:00 amWhen I was first looking for a reasonably priced car two years ago I didnt even know what a Daewoo was. I am sure glad I took one for a test drive, because i now know that this car was just right for me. I am very pleased with this inexpensive vechile and I know that for my next purchase, I will be looking for a daewoo.
