This Year's Model Updates:

The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

  • Gas Guzzler - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Overaal we like this car, all the features we were looking for. The around town gas mileage is terrible!!! I dont think we have gotten 13 mpg around town yet (8500 miles)and thats w/out the A/C on. In the summer it was getting just over 10 mpg!!!! Ignore the sticker mileage on this one. If you drive mostly highway miles, it is a good car.. 20-21 mpg on the road. Unfortunately my wife drives it mostly around town. The dealer has completely ingnored our concerns on the mileage it is getting. We are looking to unload this thing or buy some gas stocks.

  • Best Car I have owned - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Best car that I have owned. I have owned BMWs, Lexuses and Mercedes. Chrysler is not marketing the Pacifica correctly. Should be marketed against the Lexus and BMW SUVs. I believe that it would compare favorably.

Incredibly comfortable. Drives like a high-end sedan. Terrific controls and interior layout.

This is a really nice vehicle. It looks good, handles well, rides nice and has a pretty fair amount of room inside. I didnt get any options since this is just an extra vehicle we bought for when we need to haul things or take 6 people. I have had one problem so far with a misaligned fan belt pulley, but otherwise it runs very nice. If you can pick one up at a good discount, this vehicle is great.

  • Upgrade From Town & Country - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I couldnt pass up the $5,500 in manufacturer incentives on top of the dealer discount. $4K from Chrysler, $1K from Chrylser Financial, plus a $500 eCertificate from Chrysler. I was basically able to get a fully loaded Pacifica for the cost of a striped one. The Pacifica is a real winner in almost every category when compared to any other SUV on the market.

This vehicle was a hit from the word "GO". The buying experience from our local dealerhip in Canoga Park was so easy and straight forward, my wife and I couldnt believe it. The vehicle handles like a dream and the creature comforts are almost excessive. From the NAV system to the power rear liftgate my family is wrapped in features. We really enjoy the quiet ride and awesome stereo system! My little ones love watching a DVD on the rear seat video system. With the wireless headphones, it gives my wife and I a chance to listen to the radio or chat, which is great. The Gas mileage was not great, but with my family safe, its a small price to pay.

  • Its a winner - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

This has been the perfect family car. It has the functionality of a mini van and the looks of a european luxury car. You can see the Mercedes influence in this car! The one improvement that I would recommend is an upgrade on the interior carpets. Once you drive this car and compare the others you will buy it.

  • Everything I expected and more! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I selected the AWD with heated leather seats as best for Wisconsin winters. After three months of winter driving, I found it to be safe, comfortable - a joy to drive even on slippery roads and sub-zero days. The stability of the platform on all kinds of roads and in all kinds of turns is outstanding. As to gas mileage, I knew going in that it was going to be about 20 mpg and after 1500 or so miles, 21 on the highway and 18+ in town are the rule. Likewise acceleration of a 2.5 ton vehicle is not that bad. I have had several Chrysler Vans that were a lot lighter and didnt do that much better.

I absolutely love this vehicle. The ride is very smooth & comfortable. The people at Parks Motors in Augusta Kansas were wonderful.
