This car is not so good - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By MMB1974 - May 21 - 10:00 amI dislike my 2004 Pacifica and if I had it all to do over I would not have purchased it. The V6 at times is under powered, due to the fact that the car is extremely heavy. This also takes a toll on the gas mileage, which is much much lower than the sticker and most reviews indicate. In addition my 2004 has been having a belt issue that has not been resolved after 2 trips back to the shop. My car has been under repair so much that Im beginning to feel like the dealership loaner PT is my actual car. I would not recommend this car to anyone.

Great Crossover Vechicle! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By fkeiser - May 15 - 10:00 amGreat vehicle for long trips. I traded a woody PT Cruiser for more comfort. The PT got only 25 on a long trip; Im getting a consistent 20-22 after only 5K on the odometer. Im going to full synthetic oil at the 6K oil change for more mpg, hopefully. Like my PT, I get a lot of positive comments from passers- by. I love the magnesium color. My neighbor traded their Jeep for a Pacifica after looking at mine. Stated it had more room than the Jeep.

By jimmyc - May 2 - 10:00 amComing out of a CLK320 was tough but no choice with child car seat to deal with. Love the look and the color Butane Blue. Captains chairs in second row was not a real plus but certainly add to look and comfort for adults who have to ride there. Access to 3rd row is not convenient but workable. Not much storage space if youve got the third row being used for passengers. Drives great and felt very secure in bad weather driving. Handled great in pouring rain on highway. Its one heavy vehicle. I do agree with some other comments about blindspots and tough to see out of back but too soon for me to say definitively.

By sdurand - April 25 - 10:00 amWeve only had the car a few days, but this is a luxury, suv, car, family car..etc.....all I can say is Ive driven BMWs , Mercedes, and any other luxury car around and this is better than all of them.

By DorthiaC - April 19 - 2:00 amI love this car!!! Everyone wants to know what is it -- is it a car, is it a truck??? I had so much fun driving it this summer everyone thought it was so cool. I have the Inferno Red and I absolutely love it - I traded in a 2002 300 M for this car and have not regretted it once. Although we could use a little more horse power - I love to drive - thanks Chrysler it is the coolest car out there. My stero could be louder too.

By lionsfan - April 19 - 2:00 amThis vehicle is a very comfortable feeling car. It feels very solid, safe and luxorious. So far, the horsepower and gas mileage havent been a problem. Its comparing equally to my other vehicle, which is a mini van.It drives exceptional on the highway and during our first snow storm, handled treacherous roads great.

Some troubles - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By redtr6 - April 2 - 10:00 amThe car has 4,000 miles on it and has been in the shop over 12 days. The majority of these days are for the fan belt pully replacement. When accelarating a slipping noise occurs. They attempted 3 times to fix. Now this week the check engine light came on and blinked rapidly. Called the dealer and they said not to drive and sent a flat bed to pick it up. They said that a computer board needed to be replaced. I have the car for about 70 days of which 12 have been in the shop. Not too happy with Chrysler.

By mompilot - March 14 - 10:00 amThis car drives so smoothly and is so comfortable that I keep looking for excuses to go somewhere! It is perfect for a family of 4. The folding seats are easy to operate and convenient. 6 DVD changer is great for long trips with the kids (no DVD or video cases all over the car). Plenty of storage space with front and mid consoles.
