Overview & Reviews
The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.
- Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
- Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

9 Months Later - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By byjulius@aol.com - January 20 - 10:00 amI am not nearly as impressed with the vehicle now as I was 9 months ago. In the past 15,000 miles...The motor knocks upon starting, ticks constantly. When backing up with the wheel fully cranked to the right something in the front makes an awful clunking noice. The low tire pressure warning stays on permanently flashing and chiming even though no tires are low. The topper...I average 12-13 mpg in town and 14-15 on the highway a far cry from what the sticker says. I dont feel that all of the good points outweigh the bad at this point.

Blind Spots - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By hoho/haha - March 26 - 10:00 amLooking out the rear window or rear side windows while backing up was made difficult because of the size and location of the rear corner panels and window divider panels. The rear window cannot be fully washed using the standard window squichie because the top trim piece sticks out too far.

Nice SUV, but... - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By Heidi_D - October 7 - 10:00 amAt the very begining I relly like it, but at 6000 miles a noise either in the steering or front supension started and the dealer said they didnt find any noise the two times the vehicle was for service. Also at 6K miles a module for the power locks and windows stoped working.

Needs some improvements - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By Pat Haley - September 16 - 2:00 amThe vehicle is very comfortable to drive especially on the highway. I feel it is over priced for the following reasons. 1. Interior componets do not live up to a $40,000 car 2. Mileage is horrible, (does not meet window sticker) 3. Limited rear view (always feel as we are going to back into something or someone.) 4. Transmission shifts rough at times.

Iffy, but nice looking - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By coeys - June 12 - 10:00 amMy wife and I bought our pacifica 2 weeks ago and it has been to the sho0p twice for some squeeking noise. The dealer said its a belt problem that Chrysler is trying to fix but how long will it take. Seem very embarrising to drive a new car with temp tags and a loud squeak to go along with it. But when I did drive it it handled nice gas of course could be alot better. Oh the squek starts when you start the car and driv for a long time. And please dont try calling Chrysler because they are no help at all.

Disappointing - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
By RonFromOregon - January 21 - 10:00 amThe Pacifica did not live up to my expectations. It handles like soggy sponge, rattles from the back, and has very little headroom. The 3rd row seats are a joke. The DVD entertainment is broken. This is hard to explain, but the AWD tracks the road like a big truck -- it feels heavy and slow. Exterior styling is very good, but not enough to justify the $7000 over MSRP the dealership was asking. Until Chrisler figures out how to give this wheezing car a triple-bypass, youre much better off in one of the new 2004 Toyota Siennas or a Lexus RX- 330.
