This Year's Model Updates:

The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

  • I Love My Pacifica! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

All in all, the Pacifica has exceeded all my initial expectations -- which were very high as Ive been obsessed with this car since its concept debut in 2002. My husband, who drives a 2001 PT Cruiser, is extremely jealous! This car has such a quiet ride & exceptionally smooth drive. Exterior (Satin Jade) & interior (Deep Jade/Light Taupe) colors are gorgeous!

  • One month and counting - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

The first month of ownership has alievated my initial fears of buying a first-year product. My Pacifica has excellent build quality (comparable to my next newest car, a Honda), the interior is attractive, comfortable and its control placement is well executed. I especially appreciate how quiet the driving experience is. The automatic climate control keeps the inside at a constant temperature without a lot of fan noise, which allows the excellent stereo/CD to entertain those along for the ride. This is a quality vehicle for those families needing more room than the typical sedan, but not the massive bulk of the traditional mini-van or SUV.

I purchased my vehicle for Thanksgiving.I absolutely love it. I t has been the talk of the family. The ride, the seating, and the look. The appearance is very classy, and the ride is smooth and controlled. I have not had this much fun driving a vehicle in years. It is absolutely the best. I love it. Oh the sound system and DVD player is exceptional, the children cannot get enough. They love it so much theyve invited their friends to go everywhere with us.

I LOVE MY CAR! I DIDNT START OUT LOOKING AT THE PACIFICA. WE WENT TO TEST DRIVE A TOWN AND COUNTRY MINI VAN. THE VAN WAS NICE BUT PARKED NEXT TO IT WAS A FULLY LOADED PACIFICA. IT LOOKED SO SPORTY COMPARED TO THE MINI VAN. WE TEST DROVE IT AND WERE SOLD. IT HAS EVERYTHING WE HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR. THE VEHICLES THAT WE WERE LOOKING AT WERE YUKONS XL AND THE TOWN AND COUNTRY. THE KIDS LOVE IT TOO!

  • Proud to own American - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

My wife and I are very satisfied with the Pacifica. We have owned, Hondas, Toyotas, Mazdas, Nissans, as well as other American made cars. It is the best vehicle that we have owned. It is very solid (like a Volvo) and handles well. The styling is very popular with our friends.

I love our Pacifica, it is safe in the winter(AWD), and gas mileage is better than an SUV. I absolutely love the fact that I dont have to crawl "down" into it, or jump up. It is soooo much more spacious in the back seat than our Jeep was, adults sit very comfortably in the back. Cargo space is excellent if you do not have to use the third row. I can take my kids friends with us. It is such a wonderful car, I cant imagine ever owning anything else again!!!

  • Great Crossover Vehicle - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I have enjoyed all of the features of this new mult-purpose vehicle. It is not a total SUV, station wagon or sedan - it is all three rolled into one. It has great saftey features, especially the side curtain air bags for all passengers. The reliability has been excellent, just like my 300M which I traded for the Pacifica.

Anyone looking for an SUV stop! This is better, it is a touch smaller than those large SUVs that are hard to park, yet big enough for a family of 6. My husband hates minivans so this is the perfect option. It turns heads and is so fun to drive. The interior looks expensive but isnt. Hands down it is a better deal than anything else out there.

  • My Pacifica is as fun as my 1956 T-Bird - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

One of the most beautiful and fun-to- drive vehicles of all time is the 1956 T-Bird. I sold mine in 1987, and I have never enjoyed a car since then, until I purchased a 2004 Pacifica. I thought I would never again experience the fun I used to when I drove around the California coast in my T-Bird, but that fun is back! After reaching the age of 40, I didnt believe much of my daily routine would be fun again, but it is. My wife now prefers driving my Pacifica over her 2003 Town and Country. Daimler Chrysler hit a home run with this one. I recommend taking a test drive in the Pacifica - but plan to buy if you do!
