This Year's Model Updates:

The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

  • Car okay - Chrysler Service terrible - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

I knew several negatives about the car prior to purchase, too many blind spots. The car has been okay but the service department have been terrible now there everything is wrong because they did not identify transmission problems at 14,000 miles when 1st complaint was submitted. Id never purchase another Chrysler product for that reason.

After 53,000 miles Im still very pleased with my Pacifica. The only maintenance issue was loose spline bolts at 47,000 miles. It cost $100 to have the dealer tighten the bolts. My family of 4 took the vehicle on a 3,500 mile vacation that covered much of the eastern USA and Canada. The vehicle is one of the best road cars Ive owned in the last 30 years. A 510" 200 lb adult can drive the car for 12 hours and not be sore. The middle row seats are just as comfortable as the front seats. The power is good out of the 3.5 liter FWD drive train as long as you use at least 89 octane fuel. That is what the owners manual recommends too. Fuel economy observed is 19 city/23 highway

  • Bad on gas & off road - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

The car looks great, confortable, drives well, exellent handling, seams a bit heavy, but outrageos gas consumption, really bad off road, the V6 3.5 Ltr. engine needs more power, very noisy engine.

You will not be buying a race car, but you will be buying one of the most comfortable cars I have ever been in. This 4 door wagon is the best running , most comfortable cars to come along in a while. I got one that has everything on it and everything performs beyond my wildest dreams. I am very happy with my choice!

  • Moving up in the world - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

We just bought it this month, so we really do not have a long term experience with it. We feel we got an excellent deal compared to looking at a new one. The vehicle rides and drives very nice. I doesnt feel as Chrysler as previous Chrysler vehicles I have owned. It could use some more power, but for what we use it for it is great. I have faster, more powerful vehicles for that.

Things I like is that i can haul lot of things with 3 row down, but am able to put my son and 2 dogs in in back and they can watch a dvd. Fuel Mileage could be a little better but going to complain.

  • Worth a Look - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

This vehicle is worth a look at...Dare to Compare. I think the Pacifica will win hands down for the price. Best of all worlds. A great combination of SUV, Wagon, and Minivan. Well laid out..with features to die for. Would like to see rear sensors, 5 speed auto. with 30 more hp., 1"+ ground clearance.

  • The perfect family/adult car - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

The family car meets the luxury car... This vehicle is everything the family needs (6 six) and everything the young parents(w/ babysitter)/yuppies want... Germany meets USA. Great handling, looks and an interior that rivals any in any class. Nav and DVD a must. Mercedes handling with a 300M engine cant be beat. Its a must test drive.

  • Awesome Automobile - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

We bought our Pacifica in August and were immediately satisfied. The smooth ride, roomy interior and 5 star crash rating are all that a family of 5 could ask for. We had to sell our Pacifica for financial reasons, but are back in the market for one at this time. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone that wants total satisfaction.
