  We testdrove the Pacifica on the way to buy an Acura MDX at the dealership next door. We were "wowed." We still went on to buy the MDX though because we just couldnt adjust to buying a Chrysler product. After opening and closing the MDX liftgate by hand a couple of times, we decided to put our purchase on hold while we did further research on Chryslers recent products. We ended up with the Pacific with all the toys and after 2 months we couldnt be happier. We LOVE this car.

  We got this vehicle on the 28th January (I was allowed to test it for a day) and we have been enjoying it very much. the leather seats (tan)are nice and firm, the seating configuration is great, i have sat in every seat to test for comfort and ease of entry, I am 59" and have had no problems getting in and out. The audio system is astounding. The ride is so comfortable;I took my wife and her aunt to dinner to night and they sat in the second row watching a tv show (on two 5.6 LCDs in the front head rest, similar to what will be offered in the Mercedes version) and she said that she forgot that we were traveling.   Ive owned and/or driven many good cars. My last car was an suv and it was big because we have huge dogs. I was looking for a new suv and had driven the Volvo xc90, various Toyota suvs and a Mitsubishi Montero. When I went on my test drive in the Pacifica, i knew that this was the car for me. Having owned 4 Mercedes, I can see Daimlers influence.

  We bought one of the first Pacificas in April of 2003, we now have 15,000 miles on it and love it, a super smooth ride yet very stable in cornering, not a single problem so far, great sound system etc. People continue to stop us and tell us how beautiful the car is. Storage is very versatile.

  I found the car to ride very nicely and the adjustability of the seats for the driver and passenger helped. I like the both the interior and exterior design much better than the Murano and Infinity FX, which look very masculine. The cargo cover is much better than either also, because it can be moved up to cover more interior space. I like the weight and believe it gives the car more roadability. I was not interested in a car that jumps out of the gate, but prefer a smooth and pleasant ride and feel. The exterior color selection is a nice variety and the car looks good in any of them.
