This Year's Model Updates:

The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

  • Great car - the Pacifica - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

The Pacifica drives great, it drives like a small car, very agile. Its comfortable for long distance driving and its great having a third row of seats when we have out-of-town guests. The rear is very spacious and we can basically load anything in the back. We even loaded 45 packs of wood laminate flooring.

I purchased our Pacifica 14 months ago. I am impressed with the car overall. The ride and build quality are some of the best on the market. It handles well on dry, wet, and icy roads. Comfort on long and short trips is outstanding. The car is basically a Mercedes with a Chrysler wing logo on it. In 14 months, I have only had to have the car worked on twice (power seat module and HVAC blower fan motor), other than normal service. I am disappointed with the car not retaining its value, based on the Edmunds Used Car values.

  • LOVING IT!!! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I just got my new Pacifica, I love it, it has all the extra features and they rock..the dvd sound system rates right up there with the best movie theaters. I am a former PT Cruiser owner and loved it, with the pacifica I dont miss it at all.

  • Beautiful Car - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

This car is so awesome! I need a minivan with our 3 small children, but I did not really want one. This vehicle drives like a Town Car. I could not believe how smooth of a ride it is. I dont know how I ever lived without the DVD system! Its very nice to have a separate sound system for the adults. The third row is still comfortable enough for long trips, and the third row cup holders are a nice touch. Others complain about the visibility, but you just need to be able to drive with mirrors. The navigation system is great. I cant wait to take a long trip now! Before, I would not have considered making a long trip with 3 small kids packed into a sedan.

  • Bought used with 12,000 miles - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

Bought this car 30 months old with only 12k miles. Currently have 32k. Only replacement was front control arms, pretty common on Chryslers. Mileage improved a few months after installing K&N air filter. Gets better mielage when you keep your speed under 70 on the highway. You can actually achieve 24 mpg if you keep it at 60-65. Also running synthetic motor oil. Fabulous highway car....feels very solid. No problem pulling a pop-up camper, but make sure you buy the wiring harness from Chrysler. Always by OEM parts when it comes to electrical or youll have issues down the road.

  • Yes, A Chrysler - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I never thought I would own a Chrysler product but fell in love with the styling on a trip through the dealership. Bought the Pacifica after a few test drives and a full scrutinization of the vehicle. After 4 weeks I do not regret my decision. An excellent ride, many great comfort and convenience features and a great exterior appearance make this car a joy to drive. Not all things are perfect however. The seats could be longer front to rear and the arm rests do not compliment the other high grade interior appointments. Also the floor mats where clearly an afterthought that will benefit will-fit mat providers. All-in-all though it is a super car.

Just got it and I must say that it is the best bang for the buck. I drove every suv in the class and I loved this one the most. I didnt think I was goin to purchase it but when I did the math I got a fully loaded car for less then all the others.

  • Chrysler Pacifica AWD - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Wonderful long distance cruiser-- interstate gas mileage @ 70mph is 22.4 mpg on 89 octane--great for 4780 lb. car! Seats and interior layout excellent. Infinity stereo great. Only negative is side vision on rear mirrors that is correctable slightly with spot convex glued on mirrors as an aid. I recommend AWD-- was forced off inside lane of I-95 by truck at 75 mph and passed ahead with two right wheels on pavement and 2 left wheels on grass. The car did not slip at all with the AWD, which probably saved my life. I intend to replace this car in the next few months with another Pacifica AWD, since I drive approximately 4000 miles/month. I have twice recommended the hemi to Chrysler as 06 option

  • Shopped around - no minivan - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

We shopped around extensively before making this purchase, looking at multiple minivans and SUVs. With a child due in 5 months, we needed a vehicle that would be safe, comfortable, and have enough room for all the "stuff" involved when traveling with a baby. The Pacifica met all our requirements in addition to handling the best of the vehicles, having the most comfortable drivers and passengers seats, and some great options. We believe we got he most for a money and a vehicle we will be happy with for a long time.
