  • 17 months of fun! - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Ive had the car over a year and have enjoyed every day. The cars low gears rocket you on the road and the interior room fits three in the back comfortably. Havent had a mechanical problem yet...

  • Practical and fun! - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Not the quickest of its generation or class, but with a 5-speed manual, it has good acceleration and better gas mileage than with automatic trans. Great use of interior space - tons of cargo options with folding and removable back seats. Very stable at highway speeds and good handling on winding roads as well. With four wheel disk brakes, this car stops on a dime!

  • Fun ride, bad milage - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

This is my second PT, the first one was a Touring, and one thing they have in common is the bad gas milage. The Touring with the standard 2.4 L was too weak, and I traded in after I tested the new Turbo. The Turbo is a very fast car, 0-100 is done in a few seconds. However driving it in city my car has an average about 12 miles a gallon or less, where Chrysler said 19/gallon. BAD!!!!But it is a fun ride, interior is leather, Autostick is cool, ok stereo, nice sun roof, I love my PT!! The suspension is much better than the Touring and diskbrakes, traction controll and ABS brakes makes the ride safer and more relaxed.I think the design IS the PT Cruiser!

  • PT Dream Cruiser - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I have found that the Dream Cruiser is the most fun car I have owned in over 20 years (besides the 1984 Chrysler Mark Cross Convertible that I still own). Its fun to drive and listen to the Sirrus Radio.

  • I loved my car until recently. - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

We bought our car new and loved it right away. It has lots of room and can carry a lot. I loved the look of it and I always thought I felt like I was sitting in my kitchen chair when I drove it. Last year I changed my mind, I no longer love my car. We have had it in the shop during the past year 8 times for the same problem. It wont start. The battery has been replaced 2 or 3 times, the starter has been replaced twice, the starter relay once and the wiring harness once. The last repair did last for many months but we are back to the same problem again. We would never, ever buy another Chrysler. Very bad reliability.

The vehicle is very fun to drive. It makes my other vehicle seem like a slug. It would have been nice to have a few more uplevel features, though. I like the Onyx Green paint.
