  • Best New Car - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I picked my car on line. For the price I paid, it was by far, my best car buying experience. I love the unique body style. I love the 0 to 60 in about 8 seconds. I love the roomy head and leg room. I love the visability, with no real blind spots. On line I was able to see if it was in my price range, and figure what my payment should be. I actually enjoyed my car buying experience. People frequently have made positive comments on the car, style, color (cool vanilla). There was no having to adjust to a new car, it was like it was made to but you right into the perfect comfort zone.

Beware of all the attention you are going to get if you purchase this car. Not only does it command people to stare at you, but the ride is unbelievable for the price of the car. I have a 5 speed manual and it shifts very smooth in and out of gears. The acceleration is excellent. Handles well in rain and will not leak like other convertibles. My only complaint is the factory stereo. Very cheap. Noise is limited with the top down. I would say this is one of the funnest cars Ive ever driven. I used to laugh when I heard there was a PT Cruiser club. Now Im seriously considering joing it. I love the car that much. Only regret is I didnt buy it sooner.

  • Fun, Economical and Reliable - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Love this car! Really enjoying the sporty look and feel, standard transmission and one-touch control for the convertible top. Have had my car for a little more than 2 years and it is very reliable. The fact that it has a comfortable back seat was a big selling feature, too. It easily accommodates four adults. Gas mileage is 27-29MPG consistently. Would recommend the PT Cruiser Convertible to all ages!

Picked up one of the first GT Turbo Convertibles in April. It has been a joy to drive. It has more power than I will probably ever need but it is nice to be able to get up to traffic flow speed in a heartbeat. It is convenient to put the top up or down as conditions require while sitting at a traffic light. Look forward to driving it every day to and from the office.

  • Had it for ~6 months and loving it! - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I was determined to own a convertible before I was 30. Financially, the choice fell between the new 2005 PT Cruiser and the 2005 Mustang (new design). Both are comparably priced, but the test drive sold me on the Cruiser. It handles very well, and actually has enough room to seat 4 average sized adults comfortably! Im 510 and my husband is 6 tall, but weve never had a problem with head or elbow room. Also, the Cruiser seats the driver higher off of the road. The seats are more like captains chairs than bucket seats. The only problem we have is that the fuel economy is comparable to a small truck, like the Ford Ranger than any car its size. We accept this because it solidly built

  • I love my PT Cruiser Convertible! - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

We were not in the market for a PT Cruiser at all when we began to car shop. We stumbled across ours and fell in love! It is so much fun to drive and easy to maintain.

My "Dream " car! Absolutely am in love with it. I enjoy the enhanced pick-up that it has but I do notice the fuel economy is slightly less. I will more than likely get another one in the future.

  • Time Will Tell - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

This vehicle is basically for my wife..she liked the "look". What I have found is that the PT cruiser makes good use of interior space, is comfortable and fun to drive. I am not sure if the "Fun" factor will remain as time goes on..that is small problems, parts gets loose , rattles performance drops etc...Only Time Will Tell!
