What can I say! This one really takes you back to the 50s & 60s Hot Rod days in Hi-Tech style. Extremely comfortable on short and longer trips... gas mileage is excellent when you consider what you are driving. We have two E Class Mercedes Benzs and you can see and feel the little crossovers such as "AutoStick" and PWs on dash. Handling is outstanding. Cruising on Interstate @ 77mph is a walk in the park. Acceleration from 0 to 100 is trip... pulls hard all the way... 4 wheel discs stop just as well. At age 62, you can really appreciate this one... I do. Like the sedan... Love the Ragtop. Quality,Class and Style.

Never regretted buying the PT. My wife absolutely loves it. The only drawback is the turning radius. Everything else is fantastic. It would be nice to get better gas mileage but with the 220 Turbo it is still good.

Our PT Ragtop is our first convertible in almost 30 years. We werent looking for a hotrod but a drop top with seating for four or room for two sets of golf clubs and some nice styling. Our PT is effectively the base model with 16" wheels and a flawless black paint job. Its great for a sunny day cruise, an evening out, or a run to the lake on the weekend. We bought it for fun...thats just what we got! Its a great little rag top at a good price!

I purchased just yesterday and Im already in love. Have looked at several other types of cars before deciding with the help of my 12y.o. daughter, she absolutely loves :) The ride is so smooth, the turbo, what power! the room it has is unbelievable. We are a family of 4 and everyone loves it. the kids cant wait until they turn 16!

  • Fun and eye catching! - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Just wanted to say I have had my Convert for over a year now and have over 18000 miles on it and have loved every min of it. It still gets looks everywhere I go. It has plenty of pickup for passing and freeway driving.

This car has the power it needs for a fast pick up. The ride is wonderfully smooth, and great handling. The ONLY drawback with its design is the huge blind spot with the top up. So the solution, of course, is to drive with the top down, whenever possible. Isnt that why we bought the convertible?

No doubt about it, this car not only performs well it looks good doing it. I have owned many new cars, and by far this is the most fun to drive.

This is my second PT Cruiser and it is even more fun to drive than the first one. The retro styling coupled with modern amenities make the Cruiser the best of all possible choices. The car is quiet and windproof a real feat for a convertible. I have the standard base model with a 150 hp engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. I have never noticed the lack of power some people write about with the base engine and auto transmission. Fun to drive, always attract attention, perfect for a day in the sun.

  • Best Convertible I have ever owned - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

This is the 4th convertible that we have owned. The others were leaky and not built as solidly. This one is frisky and fun to drive. The turning radius is very wide but this is the only negative that we have found. It is very comfortable and the back seat is roomy and the most comfortable of any other convertible that we have owned. It is also very quiet. We have our first GPS in this one. It gets us where we want to go. In fact, we wont buy another car without one.

  • Dream Cruiser is a Dream! - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Ive had my turbo Dream Cruiser for 2 years. It has never been in for service, except oil changes. Everything has worked perfectly. I am amazed at how solid and quiet the double layer top is when up. With the top down the seats are set deep enough to be safe for my dogs to ride along. We drop the top on warm winter days and turn on the heated seats. It can go up or down at a stop light with a turn of the locking latch and one button push, and the windows go down with it! The stereo with a 6-CD changer is great, and the auto stick is a fun feature. I get more compliments on this car than any I have had before, especially the Lava Red color with matching top. The "Smart glass" is amazing too.
