Great! - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By Corey Van Buren - April 25 - 10:25 pmI am the second owner of this car and it has been great. It currently has 185,000 miles. The fuel pump went out at 90K and I have replaced the front bearings but everything else on the car is fine. The body and the interior has held up great, it still sparkles.

Awesome - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By Mshelley - April 14 - 10:18 amBought this car in 2002, have loved it since. Great ride, lots of fun. We live in NE so lots of snow and this car handles beautifully. I havent spent a lot of money on it, beyond the normal wear and tear stuff. We replaced the brakes twice, and unfortunately we had to replace all four door locks, that was a bit pricey. As far as performance nothing has gone wrong. I just bought a new car, and am still keeping this one, cant bare to part with it. Will keep it till it really dies.

Love this car - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By donnatella - April 1 - 4:08 pmI purchased this car new in 1997, and it now has 197,000 miles. It has reliably been up steep mountain passes, crossed country several times with great comfort. After all these miles it is beginning to show its years as its currently overheating. Im wondering if its time to put the "Do Not Resuscitate" sign on. However, Im having difficulty letting go. I may give it one more check-up. If this car was still available I would buy another.

A Ford man buys a Chrysler - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By Andrew Moore - March 26 - 2:09 amAs much as I love Ford cars/trucks, I have owned 5 in my short 20 year existence on the earth, and I liked them all, but when I went to purchase my 6th vehicle, I said to myself that i would consider other makes of cars, but No GM products, bleh! My first look for a new car, a 1999 Ford Escort, it was a smokers car, too many small things made me question it, and I decided to look at other car lot, and I looked for something under $3,000. I found a Chrysler LHS, I loved it from the start, drove it, looked it over, BS-ed with the dealer, got them to knock off a $100 or so bucks, I drove it 250 miles to home, no problems,a good Chrysler product for sure, nice luxury car, forget Cadillac!

Second LH and love this one. - 1996 Chrysler LHS
By goonior - March 11 - 10:59 pmBought the car w/104k mi. Now has 116k, no major problems. Does need new trans mount, broke 3 weeks after purchase. Gas mileage is good for a car this size, about 24mpg driving 90mi roundtrip to work each day. This is the second LH car I have owned. First was 94 New Yorker that started to fall apart after 100k. Build quality is much better this time. Cassette broke recently will replace w/factory CD or CD/cassette soon. Will need new rod bearings soon, seems to be a problem w/these after about 100k, only knocks on morning startup until oil pressure builds. Every power accessory still works. Overall I love this car.

Great Car = Best I Ever Had - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By Mike O - February 21 - 1:53 pmThis car is still going strong at 103,000 mi. Still original brake lining and get 25-27 mpg on the highway. Engine uses no oil between changes. Car looks good and drives great. I wish the new Chrysler was fwd so I could trade. Only criticism is road noise. I would like a quieter ride. Only repair was an air cond evaporator at 78,000 mi.

Last Chrysler that I expect to own - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Chas - December 30 - 5:13 pmIve never owned a car that required more repairs than this LHS. Love the looks and comfort, but build quality is well below competitors. Here is a list of repairs since ownership: struts, window motors (twice), seat heater switch, air conditioner (twice), wheel bearings, trunk weatherstripping, front speakers, windshield wiper motor, EGR valve, cycling sound of dash motor...most were replaced under warranty. Next vehicle will be reviewed more closely for reliability...I can thank Chrysler for that!

Owner/operator - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By Ted Pysh - October 1 - 10:26 amI bought this car in 2002 for $18,000 as a "winter" car. I sold my other vehicle and kept this one. I didnt care what went wrong with it and so...nothing did. Finally put in new brakes at 73,000 miles. Put in a new battery out of "guilt" after 6 years. This car has never let me down. Starts and runs beautifully in any weather. Excellent winter driving car. Great road car. Gets 20mpg. consistently which amazes me for a big V6 engine. Its just a wonderful vehicle. Currently 86,000 miles, but starting to show its age and regretfully Ill have to trade it in.

296,000 miles and counting - 1995 Chrysler LHS
By Guardrail - September 28 - 7:15 amBought used in 1996 with 19,000 miles on it. Replaced all components of the AC and had a new torque converter installed at 200,000 miles. Currently needs complete suspension overhaul but I cant bear to part with it. I commute over 100 miles a day. The security of the large vehicle, the stability and comfort of the ride have prevented me from seeking a replacement. I would rather spend $1,500-$2,0000 dollars a year in maintenance than than pay $35,000 for a new econobox that barely offers the same amenities I have in this vehicle.

Great car - 2001 Chrysler LHS
By Doug - September 11 - 4:28 pmI enjoy the comfort and ride of the LHS - Luxury Highend Sedan. Even though I live in California and thought I would never use them, but the heated seats are a great feature during the winter. Nice looking car
