fun but little things cost a lot - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By deantre - October 29 - 8:02 amGreat engine, good handling, nice styling, under engineered windows, engine fans, sound system speakers. Had drivers window go inoperative, tranny sensor quit, speakers fell apart, heater quit working, seat heater quick working, sensor quit, they tell me the only fix is a new $800 Seat. Yeah right, good job Chrysler.

Perfect American Luxury - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Paige - September 21 - 1:36 pmI absolutely love the LHS. I have owned multiple LHSs and keep coming back for more. My sister owns an LHS and I have owned three. After 10 years my 99 is still one of the best looking cars on the road. Driving this car feels like driving a much more expensive, high-end luxury vehicle. Acceleration is phenomenal considering the weight of the behemoth. Comfort is second to none, although road and wind noise is a bit sub-par. It has a few "gremlins", dash tends to split on the passenger side, door seals tend to fall, speed sensors have a history of going in this make, headlight seals like to separate and the headlight lenses tend to yellow and become milky, ect. All of these are EASY FIX!

5 Years, 126K, Great Engine! Bad Trim! - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By The Diamond - August 28 - 3:13 pmPurchased in 2003 with 28K miles, owned 5 years and 126K miles. I love the reliability and power of the engine (now at 154K). Mechanically, it performs like new and passes almost everyone on the road. However, trim components fly off the car as I go by. I expect to drive it for at least 2 more years. To avoid a new car purchase, I recently detailed the interior and ordered $400 worth of replacement trim, including the hood molding and a pair of speakers to replace the blown front right woofer. The large black hood molding seems to be a universal problem. I also paid for some significant AC repairs around 120K. Overall, I have really gotten my moneys worth and love driving my LHS.

review - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By pimp J - August 14 - 10:24 pmThis is an absolutely amazing vehicle! I bought this car used and have put 30,000 miles on it since then and have had no problems whatsoever. This car now has 118,000 miles on it and runs absolutely perfect ad looks just the same. The paint wheels and interior are immaculate and looks just like new, and the women love it. If you are looking for an affordable, quick, flashy, and comfortable car I would definitely go with the LHS, you will not be disappointed.

love my lhs - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By chris - July 17 - 4:31 pmI love my LHS. I still think it is the best looking vehicle on the road. Roomy, comfortable, fun to drive, plenty of trunk and back seat space. Gas mileage great for a car this size. I dont want to give it up. Got about 114,000 miles on it now and the motor is still A1 shape, but have a big problem with the paint, especially on the roof. Now starting to rust. Ive seen a few LHS with this same problem. BWas told by the body shop the problem I have was only with certain colors being affected by the sun uv rays. Dont want to give it up, but am going to have to decide if its worth the cost of the paint job. Hate to give it up. Great car, so right now Im undecided.

Best car Ive owned - 1994 Chrysler LHS
By Craig - July 12 - 1:16 pmBought this car for a song. Has over 230,000 miles and still going pretty well, but getting a little long in the tooth. Had the transmission rebuilt, then again under warranty. Had front tie rods & ball joints replaced, misc. other problems. A/C was great until last year, now has a leak. Overall, Ive learned to live with the cars quirks & its been very reliable. For the person who has clim. ctrl problems. Reset the climate control by putting it in test mode and it will no longer be "hot all the time" I periodically have to do this to mine. Google for info--not enough space here. Original alternator lasted till 210K miles, still on original starter. Exhaust system is orig. too.

Great car even to drive in 2008! - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By B Peek - June 25 - 6:22 pmThis car has been a great car. My mother in law bought it used in 2001. It only now has 53K miles on it and it is so comfortable. I am now driving it and really like it. I save my 08 Escalade and have fun driving this 1997! I cant believe the gas mileage I get (no wonder I dont drive the Escalade)! I will keep it forever I think. It is has always been in the garage and shows like a new one. Paint is great and still looks new!

Dont buy Chrysler (any) - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By J.Walker - May 24 - 1:10 pmThis is a beautiful car, However, at 39,000 miles the timing belt jumped off the track damaging the engine to the tune of $3000. which was out of warranty due to the year. Chrysler would do absolutely nothing. Then needed a new battery. Thats OK However, one must take off the right front wheel (addl labor cost) to install the battery! At 42,000 miles I had to replace the fan in the radiator area to the tune of $350. The front speakers on gone and the rear window no longer works. Im selling the car asap. At 44,000 miles (While it is still running ). I was told by a mechanic that at 50K miles these Chryslers begin to have all sorts of problems..

Great Car! - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By lhs - May 7 - 10:57 pmThis is a great car. It is very comfortable and has plenty of room. If you are looking for a nice car with luxurious amenities without the luxury car price this is it! I have had to replace 2 tires so I recommend buying a warranty with any tire purchase. I have also had to replace a radiator. Other than that no problems. Knock on wood!
