Love the Chrysler LHS - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By mheather28 - March 26 - 5:03 pmThe LHS is a gorgeous car even today (10 years later)Comfortable, sleek, nice ride. Some problems weve experienced as follows, Front window brackets bent and broke. AC condenser replaced but still leaking. Rack replaced twice. Alloy wheels erode and tires go flat have to have them sanded down and sealed. center caps rust and break off .Trunk supports needed replaced and most recently the windshield washer fluid wont squirt out. Thought it was an easy fix (pump) but not so easy after all they tell us the problem is one of the three computers for the car has a component that isnt working, But all and all has been relatively good car. And still looks and drives beautifully.

I love my LHS! - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Khandilipps2kiss - February 19 - 8:40 pmI absolutely love my LHS. Best car I have ever owned. Ive had a few repairs done. Window on drivers side, speed sensor, starter, battery, cooling fans, transmission leak (under warranty), brakes, compressor (under warranty), and a few repairs made under recalls. I have the typical things going wrong with my car also seals around the headlights bad, replaced windshield bug guard, trunk release doesnt work. Shocks to hold up trunk are out. Air leaking around rims. Dash cracking on passenger side, window on passenger side doesnt work, windshield washer fluid reservoir doesnt work, clear coat peeling horribly, Speakers in dash are rotted out. But I still love my Chrysler LHS!

Reliable - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By Marie - February 19 - 7:49 pmBought the car brand new. It now has 92,000 miles on it. Had to get the first set of tires replaced because of uneven wear. Have always had problems with the car bottoming out unless I keep 40 lbs of pressure in the tires. The car engine is a bit loud, but I have never had any engine problems. It has been a reliable car. Gets 20 miles per gal.

I love this car - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By steve - January 23 - 4:20 pmI bought this car used in 2003 with 48 K miles, it just turned 81K miles on 1/23/09. I have the gold color, and it looks as new as the day it was painted on the car. No problems at all, I plan on getting a new 300 C next year and keeping this one as well.

Few Minor Probs--wife & I fight to drive - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By pec - January 9 - 9:43 amOur favorite car ever. Have had same probs as others here with trans sensor, oxy sensor, headolight rubber. I have gotten really good mileage though-- 27mpg local and up to 32.5 highway. This was from time of purchase to about 70K mi--now unexpectedly the mileage has dropped and only getting 25 local and 28 hwy.

Love the car but can tick me off - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By giggles70 - December 7 - 3:54 amI bought car in March 08 and I love it. Once I got in it I was in love. Get compliments all the time and is comfy with plenty of room. I have 181,653 miles on her and havent had too much go wrong with her. Yes window motors die often in this car, battery to replace stinks, washer pump has went out and had overheating issue due to bad thermostat and clog in radiator hose. Yeah the stuff irritates me but I have learned that no car is perfect and my love for my car out weighs the anger. Newer the cars are the quality gets lower. Its not just Chrysler. Ask yourself, do you love your car....if yes...then its worth fixing and keeping.

Love my LHS - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By Christine - November 23 - 6:45 pmI purchased an LHS after driving one as a rental on vacation and just loved it. Bought it with about 25K on it. Super comfortable seats, very roomy, my passengers are always very impressed with the comfort of the back seat. Huge trunk. Handles great on the road in wet weather--wide wheel base. Good gas mileage for its size-- Im still getting 17 city and about 25 hwy. I did all of a sudden have problems with the paint, starting on the roof and it deteriorated fast. But, I still didnt want to part with itand the motor is still excellent, so I just had it painted last week. Now she looks showroom new. This is a great car for long road trips.

Crapshoot - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By sparty - November 7 - 4:50 pmThis car is very comfortable, and fun to drive. However it has been more and more unreliable as the days go by. I have had to replace two window motors, the oil pan (leaky), and the speedometer sensor within the last six months. It has gone from a cheap, fun car to a money pit. The rubber around the headlights is falling apart, and the hood trim came flying off a few weeks ago. I am going back to Hondas/Toyotas before the snow flies, because I am scared of being stranded by the side of the road in mid-winter.
