Its a great car when things are working - 1994 Chrysler LHS
By Paul Cox - July 20 - 2:00 amBought the car with 34k miles on it which had been owned by a retired dentist. The car was literally a dream purchase for us. We purchased it for 12900 and it was great until the repairs started coming. I had to have it towed twice, once when it blew the timing belt and water pump, and once for a recall item with the fuel line that was to have supposedly been fixed. My major beef with the car has been the Automatic Temperature Control Head which runs the climate control. My A/C has gone out on me twice and repairs are never cheap on this car. Ive put at least 3500 - 4500 in repairs on it in the last 4 1/2 years. Im ready to get rid of it.

Really pleased - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By JKF - July 8 - 2:00 amBought this car new and drove it a lot all over the country.Three trips to Colorado from Georgia and at least that many to Florida and Cleveland Ohio. Short trips about 25% long hauls rest of the miles. Normal mtce. Just put on third set of tires. Still with the original brakes,at least 10k+ more miles expected on them! 22 mpg overall and 26.8 on trips.Its an easy ride at and above the limit. Id buy another one.But its no longer available but the concorde might be just as good.

Stay away from this car!!! - 1995 Chrysler LHS
By kitty - July 6 - 2:00 amOverall terrible car...transmission went out twice..once at 47,000 and then again at 83,000. Compressor went out three times! Also, rack and pinion out at 92,000 and a constant leaking of various locations. Yes, the ride is good and the sound system is good but not much of a consulation in hot weather when you are broken down with tranny problems or a broken compressor. Chrysler dealerships are way over priced for the most part (except most Florida dealers) in Georgia.

Dont Buy One - 1995 Chrysler LHS
By Ruger - June 21 - 2:00 amVehicle bought with 50,000 miles w\extended warranty for up to 75,000 miles. Transmission crapped out at 82,000 miles. Cost of repairs $3100.00, fixed on 4-01. Theres more! One year later $2200.00 more spent on water pump, timing belt & ac repairs. Is this insane or what!! To have to spend over $5300.00 in a years time for repairs is pretty pathetic. I will never buy a Chrysler product again!!!

Mr. Bananas LHS - 1996 Chrysler LHS
By Mr. Banana - June 17 - 2:00 amI bought this car new as a leftover and got $8000 off the sticker. Wouldnt have paid more for it since the MRSP is overpriced. Great car, huge trunk and back seat. Nice styling especially the curve of the rear window. 112K miles on it and intend on keeping it until it dies. However, when I left it at the dealer today for them to do an inspection, their incompetant technician took it for a road test and ended up in an accident. 5 star service dealer? Not any more!

Worst Car to Own - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By BNCNTR - June 4 - 2:00 amThis car has been a problem since day one. 3 of 4 windows motors replaced. Heated seats twice. Headlights flicker and Chrysler cant fix. Transmission sensors just went out. I would have to say this is the worst car to own. I am getting rid of this thing even if I have to take a loss. This is the first and only time I buy a Chrysler product.

LHS Lover - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By Hawkeye - June 1 - 2:00 amGreat Car - my 2nd LHS - also had a 99. No problems with either one except for sticking power windows (stronger door motors installed). This was because the seal was so tight it gripped the windows - a testament to its quality.

Great Car, Bad Tranny - 1995 Chrysler LHS
By jobaker4 - May 29 - 2:00 amTo this day the car still gets comments on how roomy and comfortable it is. Chrysler hit it right with this automobile. Engine is strong, and has never left me stranded. I have experienced lots of problems with the Transmission, a Chrysler Weak Spot! Definatley a good choice, check Trans and A/C before buying.

Drive=Love! - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By toms99 - May 19 - 2:00 amI love this car! Sure it had some typical "first year" quirks, but my window motor was quickly replaced under warranty with no hassles. Reliability has been great. No other non-scheduled maintenance needed and I am at 40K. The ride is beautiful, the interior gorgeous and classy, and performance is great!
