Bad Rap! - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By jlvl - November 16 - 2:00 amIn my opinion this car has gotten a bad rap giving it a reputation it doesnt deserve. Ive had mine for 3 years (bought with 27k miles)and have had little trouble of any kind-one recall item which took the dealer two times to fix: not the cars fault. Ive added another 30k. Its a plush, cavernous, comortable, surprisingly powerful and economical sport sedan. If I was concerned about the depreciation I wouldnt buy this one or any American car new. But Id buy another one used in a heart-beat. Its much more car than any (Buick/Olds/Pontiac) comparable GM models.

Well Priced Luxury - 2000 Chrysler LHS
By New Birdman - November 13 - 2:00 amI had been driving Intrepids for the last 6 years and considered a 300M when I bought the new 2000. Went with the LHS because of the room--plenty inside and a cavernous trunk. Nice interior touches that create a more elegant look. Very comfortable ride without being too boaty. Power is good. Shifts smoothly. I put about 24K miles a year on it and have had no problems.

The Intimidator - 1995 Chrysler LHS
By Serise - November 8 - 2:00 amI bought this car when it was 3 yrs old from an automotive executive. It was cared for exquisitely, so that is probably why I have had such a good experience with it. It looks awesome. Hubby calls it the Intimidator, all black with black windows. Has 115+K miles want to replace it, but with what? It has me spoiled, great room, great looks & great serviceability.

Big Car, Big Features, Big Bills! - 1996 Chrysler LHS
By bearessence - October 26 - 2:00 amBought the car with 62000 miles on it. I now have 131000 and counting. Had an oxygen sensor replaced, the moon roof leaks and a lot of problems with the suspension and tires. I dont like the climate control feature. I also had to replace a sensor under the dashboard to get the A/C to work correctly. Overall, a great car for long trips. Comfortable ride and plenty of room. I have the CD and cassette and everything on the dashboard is easy to reach. Enough room to where my kids wont fight. I would buy another because of the room and great ride.

Good Car - 1995 Chrysler LHS
By Dan99 - September 29 - 2:00 amIt is a big, safe, comfortable car. It also is kind of fun to drive for being big. It rides good on the highway, primarily what I use it for. Had the timing belt tensioner break off at 93,000 miles, DOH!!! A couple weeks later and a Chrysler reman motor, its all good. Though I dont think the motor shouldve gone at 93,000 miles. The new motor aside, it has been a trouble free car. I would reccomend one to anyone who wants and needs a big car.

Great luxury value! - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By TChris - September 23 - 2:00 amAn excellent value! Engine is great, 235HP. Heated leather seats and great Infinity sound system. Fuel economy is good for this class: 25- 30 hwy. The trunk is a huge cavern. Could have shortened the overall vehicle length and/or increased the leg room by shrinking the trunk a bit. The interior noise level is pretty high for a luxury car. It handles well, with 17-inch alloy wheels and low-profile tires, but its not terribly quiet. If you want a sporty luxury car without going to Mercedes or BMW to get it, this is the one!

Classic Style - 1997 Chrysler LHS
By Nature Boy - August 31 - 2:00 amafter a rough ride with the dealer upon original purchase (radiator replacement), this car has been a beauty. They styling has always drawn compliments from friends or strangers. The performance is quite snappy for a vehicle of this size. The sliding sunscreen for the moonroof is nice when you dont want that open air feeling and sun in your eyes. Fuel economy has been a pleasant surprise as I am averaging about 21 miles per gallon in city driving.

Disappointed - 1999 Chrysler LHS
By Menace - August 30 - 2:00 amDrivers window motor replace twice. Car shakes dealer says its tires, tire dealer says its the car. Rubber seal came loose from around both headlights. Drivers seat moving as you drive, replacement part has been on order for almost 4 weeks. Noises from front suspension, some repaired after 2 years others we are living with. Way too much road noise. Big disappointment for what was sold as their top of the line.
