  • Great road car - 1996 Chrysler LHS

This car is extremely comfortable and is easy on the gas ... for a large car OR a smaller car. I put a ton of miles on this over the road, and I couldnt be happier with a vehicle. Will definitely look at another Chrysler.

I REALLY like this ride.Ive had some of the problems descibed in some of the other reviews (windows, trans sensor, rubber around headlights) but the car is AWESOME. The milage is great and the comments are nice to hear. There are all the cookie cutter cars out there, not this one, very distintive.GO FOR IT. P.S. Get one with the sun roof and sound system upgrade, worth the extra dough, good resale .

One major complaint about the car is that it has a lot of road noise. Noise from the front wheels into the car interior. Car rides nice, is comfortable and roomy. Numerous mechanical failures during first 90K miles. Front end, air conditioner, headlight switch problems are just a few.

  • Typical LHS - 1994 Chrysler LHS

Fun, elegant, reasonable gas mileage, but typical problems. Bought used with 75K, now 140K. Experienced same mechanical problems as others: A/C says Blend Door error and stays HOT, Transmission shutters and jumps into limp mode 2nd gear from hwy speed, trunk spring broke, headlamp bolts rusted solid, lower ball joint replaced.

An unbelievable bargain cant wait to drive it every day.Far better than previous 1994 LHS. Fuel mileage somewhat disappointing: 18mpg in town, 24-25mpg on highway. Actually is fun to drive (handling)in a way that Ford and GM luxury cars are not.

Very good overall, one service item in 50,000 miles, handled under warranty.

  • Minor problems - 1999 Chrysler LHS

Outsize noise a problem for a "luxury car" Drivers window will not operate. Going in for service.

  • Not tired of it yet! - 2000 Chrysler LHS

Being somewhat reserved at owning a Chrysler when I travel so much, I did not know what to expect with my LHS. It has been an excellent car. Runs good, looks good and more importantly, has had to be in the shop only a couple of times and those were "trim" issues. Would highly recommend this car to anyone.

  • Solid fun - 1995 Chrysler LHS

OK, I had to replace the AC Cond, and a spell of running rough, but weve put over 150K on it sincee we bought it. now right @200K. Total repair cost has been around $2K. Still has lots of power and even my 16 yr old son loves to drive it

  • A Love/Hate Relationship - 1995 Chrysler LHS

A gorgeous, stylish, roomy, comfortable, eye-catching vehicle. A scene-stealer. Problems in the 6 mos. Ive had it: •A/C compressor stopped working •Compression failure injector #1 •Drivers side window motor failed •Tie rods and inner bushings EXCESSIVE wear (the rack replaced just 1.5 yrs before) •Rear brake rotors excess distortion (note to chrysler: a BIG car requires a high-end brakes, otherwise excess heat warps the rotors) A gorgeous, stylish, roomy, comfortable, eye-catching vehicle. A MONEY-stealer. ADVICE: Enjoy riding in it if your friend has one!
