Why Did They Ever Discontinue This Car? - 1993 Chrysler Imperial
By zenduane - March 6 - 2:00 amThis car is one of the best autos that I have ever owned. Probably if it had been promoted more it would be with us today. It has a quiet elegance that says quality luxury car but is not ostentacious. When I give folks a lift, I always get "What kind of a car is this?" They dont believe that it is as old as it is. It is comfortable, quiet, peppy, and filled with useful features that easy to use and understand.

A Jewel in the Coalbin! - 1993 Chrysler Imperial
By tedt924 - February 9 - 2:00 amWith the exception of a leaky valve in the air conditioning piping, I have experienced no trouble with my Imperial. The 3.8 V6 accelerates more than adequatly for its size, coupled with near seamless shifts from the transaxle. The ride quality is excellent and the appearance of the car is classy yet unobtrusive.

1991 Chrysler Imperial - 1991 Chrysler Imperial
By Fred W. Hoffman - December 30 - 2:00 amWe live in a small town and the car has worked just fine for us for these past few years. it handles very well on the road and is an easy start in winter. We have always kept the car in the garage since our ownership. The tires are very good. Transmission was replaced 3 years ago. No major problems with the car. We change the oil often.

Wish It Were Better - 1991 Chrysler Imperial
By AbCdEf - November 29 - 2:00 amHandsome, very comfortable, roomy car, but considering my low mileage and the high-end price, seriously unreliable. Since I have owned it, the ABS, electrics, suspension, transmission, wires (computer) and air compressor have failed and had to be replaced between the ages of 6 months and approximately 6 years. Engine seems fine because oil was changed every 3- 4,000 miles without fail. Transmission is particularly poor. Brakes not good either. After 88,000 miles, I will sell it because I have to keep putting big money into it.
