  • Best Used Car for the Buck - 1998 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

Bought with 135,000 miles and this has to be one of the most appealling large American family car, this is coming from a 21 year old. Great fuel mileage, takes the abuse I give it well. Added mods: cold air intake, and small bumper mods. One of the easiest to work on new cars I ever worked on as well.

Just simply the best car I have ever owned. I have had many other makes and have driven for over 40 years.

  • A Really Good Car ! - 2000 Chrysler Concorde

To support our retirements fixed income in May 2004 we paid cash and our 93 Jeep Cherokee for a dark-red Concorde LXi (tan interior) with 49000 miles. It was a great choice. With its peppy 3.2L V6 its a good looker and (even for me at 72) fun to drive. Its now 9 yrs old with 72000+ miles and hasnt given us any problems whatsoever. When we bought it we chose to replace its battery and tires, tinted its windows and have changed its oil every 3000 miles - nothing more - and today it still drives like a new car with reliability and very good fuel economy! The sole criticism is a higher level of road noise than it should have on an interstate. Other than that its a really good car.

  • Sweet Ride - 1995 Chrysler Concorde

This car is so nice. I loved mine while i had it, Roomy, good sound, very comfortable on long drives and just jaunting around town

  • One of the best! - 2000 Chrysler Concorde

This car has been excellent, fun to drive, gas mileage 22/28 with the 3.2V6, no repairs up to now. Love the interior space, the exterior looks, all of this on regular gas. A most comfortable car, fairly quiet and very good suspension. Chrysler hit a home run on this one its a shame that it was discontinued.

  • Reliable and Great Value - 2000 Chrysler Concorde

Bought this one new. It is extremely reliable, inexpensive to maintain, has the ride of a luxury car 3x the price, has the fuel economy of a car half the size and handles like a charm. This car has to be one of the most under-appreciated, under-rated American cars ever built! Wish Id bought two of em!

  • Nice ride - 2002 Chrysler Concorde

This car is fast and luxurious. Its fuel economy is great for a car of its size. Trunk space is so large you could get lost in there.

  • 81,000 miles and still going strong - 2002 Chrysler Concorde

I bought a certified LX (2.7L V6) 3 years ago and it has served us very well. No major mechanical problems, just routine maintenance (changing fluids, brake pads, tires). Real-world fuel mileage averages in the 21-24MPG range (the advertised 28MPG only happens if you drive at or below 60MPH) Some minor electrical problems: window motor went out, flickering dome light. Those are the only reasons I didnt give it a 10 on build quality and reliability. I have had no engine problems with the 2.7.

  • Awesome Ride! - 2003 Chrysler Concorde

This car has been driven from Indiana to Niagra Falls and to Tennessee and back two times. This car is a joy to drive. In fact, it drives so easily, you can drive it with one finger on the wheel. The trunk space on this car is unbelievable. The 3.5 liter V-6 in this car has the feel of a V-8 when you stand on the gas to get up to freeway speeds. I am going drive this car until it dies.

  • Excellent 1997 Concorde 3.5 litre - 1997 Chrysler Concorde

I bought this car with 70k miles. Now has 118k miles. Not one problem! Gas mileage is awesome for a full size vehicle at 29mpg on the freeway. Sure if you are hard on the gas off the line, no vehicle gets good mileage! Drive it right, and it does 23 around town. A lot of power. Excellent low end torque, enough to fry the tires easily at take off. Comfortable and very reliable. I changed the timing belt at 100k and water pump at same time per manufacturer, but they all need that with this motor. Brakes are replaced as necesary, they dont wear any more or less than any other vehicle. It is all in the driver. Will get to 200k miles easy!
