Review of 97 Concorde - 1997 Chrysler Concorde
By Mike P - March 22 - 11:04 amI have owned this car for about a year now, bought it used with 440,000 km on it, it now has almost half a million. No major problems at all. Changed brakes, oil, and a few other routine items, but an easy fix for someone with a little DIY experience. The 3.5 L V6 has awesome power and the transmission is very solid. I have driven this car across Canada three times now and all 3 have been without any problems. Very pleased with this car!!

so far so good - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By morgan - February 27 - 12:46 amI went out looking for a compact suv for my small budding family. That didnt work out to well, and just when I was about to give it all up and stick with my old p. O. S. Mazda for another year I found my 04 Concorde. Its perfect for what I need, plenty of room for me, my little girl and my wife. It has 94,000 miles and it still runs like a champ, very smooth and plenty of passing power on the highway. I would recommend this car for anyone. While Im not totally sold on the looks of the car, it is growing on me.. I love this car, but I will be back after a few thousand more miles to Post another review.

limited issues - 2001 Chrysler Concorde
By loyal cust - February 24 - 7:36 pmOwned the car since new, extremely reliable car. No major issues, car has 165,000 miles, replaced brake booster/ battery at 163K, brakes/ struts at 100k, original engine/ transmission, does not use oil or leak. Oil is changed every 3000 miles, all fluids replaced per the Chry schedule. Plan to drive the car for 1 more year at which time will replace due to the Michigan road salt rust

Great, comfortable, car with guts - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By 55&pushing - February 20 - 2:12 amI had a choice between an 04 Dodge Neon or an 04 Chrysler Concorde, each with 62K miles and for $6000. After test driving both, it was a no- brainer, the Concorde blew away the Neon, in comfort, ride, power & interior. (Neon was noisey, bumpy, cramped. Although it had a cam sensor error shortly after purchase,(had to be replaced), and then an engine check light and rouph idle for a couple weeks, it finally went away and has run great ever since. It gets 24mpg in town and 32mpg hwy, unless the A/C is on, then its only about 22/28. Drivers seat it very adjustable even the lumbar support. The leather seats are soft and east to keep clean. It has lots of room and drives like a sports car.

Its been a love/hate relationship : ) - 2001 Chrysler Concorde
By Jesse Jane - February 5 - 5:16 pmPurchased with 29,000 miles - at 92,000 had to replace my engine. Although I had done oil changes regularly the engine was caked with gunk! I still owed...so I replaced it and am using premium gas and better quality oil. So far with the refurbished engine Ive put 72,000 miles on it. Other than the car just up and dying on me the one time, its been extremely reliable, starts great, still runs smooth and has been roomy enough to accommodate my growing children. The paint job still shines. When Im ready to purchase another car I will consider a Chrysler again, with a different engine.

my biggest mistake - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
By chigalnomore - January 25 - 1:08 pmI wanted a car loaded that looked good and that is what i got. Too bad the car spent more time with the mechanic that being driven. I less than 2 years repalced radiator , water pump/timing chain twice cooling fan motors, starter, numerous sensors, 3 power window motors fuel pump and engine ocntrol module. I invested 5,000 in parts and repairs on top of the 5800 i spent when i purchased it new Car has been in shop for over 8 weeks with electrical problems and i am hoping to get at least 250. as is. Will never buy a chrysler product again.

Awful - 1998 Chrysler Concorde
By Hated it - January 6 - 6:47 pmWe bought our car in 2006. Our biggest problems have been....in order to get to the battery, you have to jack up the car and take the front wheel off You cant possibly change the headlight bulbs yourself the brake lines went the front drivers side seat broke the gas gage broke the headlights have to have the scratches buffed out at least once a year the check engine light never came on untill the day the engine went...no warning oh, and the windsheild design makes you feel sick when you drive it.

Iacokas Iatola idea to save Chrysler?? - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
By ragtoprita - November 25 - 12:03 amI would give $4000 to have seen these reviews before I spent it on this junk- of-an-idea-car-design-to-save-Chrysler I signed the last paper & problems started. 4 wks later (bought the car oct. 24)it has been towed twice, broke down 30% of the time Ive owned it, and has cost $1500 additional and counting. Whos the "Lame-Brain" that designed a motor with the water pump "inside" so it would practically destroy the motor when (not if) the water pump goes down. Mine did after 3 weeks. Many other problems arose before I could get it towed to the mechanic and hes got a fulltime job as long as even one Concorde is left on the road. Way to save a lost automobile corporation IaIdiot. What a curse.!
