Nice car. - 2000 Chrysler Concorde
By epanico - May 27 - 2:00 amThe 2.7 engine is a bit underpowered, and the transmission could use some refinement. Otherwise, the car is great. 70,000 miles and its still as solid as the day I drove it off the lot. The only problem I had with the car was small gasket leak in the transmission. Very reliable compared to other American made vehicles. Chrysler vehicles should retain their value better.

Concord Emissions - 1997 Chrysler Concorde
By bill m - May 18 - 2:00 amElectrical problems: Windshield wiper intermittent problem in cold weather. Oxygen sensors - replaced about 7 in 123k miles. Lots of engine warning lights. Requested meeting with regional at rep on computer problems. Would not setup. Manager of Barton Chrysler - Union City GA. advised that I had over 100k miles - should expect to have car in for problems every three months or so! Have owned 5 Chrysler products. This has required the most repairs of any car owned since 1959.

Havent found a better car for the $$ - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
By Dave Rob - May 14 - 2:00 amPurchased used with the 2.7 liter option in it, was skeptical about the drop in engine size, however 200 hp moves this car well in 95% of traffic situations. Handling is great, I upgraded rear struts to performance package for better cornering.

Unreliability - 1995 Chrysler Concorde
By Kazdad - May 12 - 2:00 amIve never owned a vehicle with so many problems. Brakes, transmission, computer, sensors....the list goes on. Chrysler is in denial and wont admit to their faults. Would never buy another Chrylser product.

Never again - 2 blown head gaskets - 1997 Chrysler Concorde
By Sharon Decker - May 6 - 2:00 amI will never again buy a Chrysler. At 50,000 miles the car blew a head gasket. This weekend it blew a second at only 71000 miles. I am going out now to buy a new car, and I guarantee it wont be a Chrysler. By the way, it also has an unreliable gas guage, guzzles fuel, and the air never works long. Two months ago, I replaced the bad front rack ($700). Also steers to the right even though the alignment is correct. Replaced both front tie rods. Other problems in the front as well that I hadnt fixed yet.

Chrysler 43 years later - 2002 Chrysler Concorde
By Grandpa Dave - May 3 - 2:00 amThis is the first Chrysler product that I have owned since 1959. The quality level is miles better than the last one. As you can see I have black listed their products for 43 years. I have owned several Ford products over the years but found that between 60k and 80k miles they fall apart. I have owned several GM products and continue to own, since new, a 1989 Cadillac DeVille with 125k miles on the odometer. Id buy another Cadillac but they priced them out of my reach. I can only hope that my new Concorde will hold up over the next several years.

I Switched - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
By John Doe - May 2 - 2:00 amRecently purchased a used Chrysler Concorde LXI. This car has all the bells and whistles anyone could imagine. Ive never been a real Chrysler fan, with their past history of transmission problem. However, after taking this car for a ride I soon changed my mind. It seems like a very solid car that rides well. I am a 41 year old male with a wife and 4 young daughters. I am also 6 4" tall and weigh 260 pounds. Plenty of room up front and back. The only problem that I had was a very small oil leak underneath. Took it to the garage several times and I still find fresh oil underneath the car. Overall, after driving this car for several months I believe I made a wise purchase.
