  • Nice car. - 2000 Chrysler Concorde

The 2.7 engine is a bit underpowered, and the transmission could use some refinement. Otherwise, the car is great. 70,000 miles and its still as solid as the day I drove it off the lot. The only problem I had with the car was small gasket leak in the transmission. Very reliable compared to other American made vehicles. Chrysler vehicles should retain their value better.

Love the look, rides great, would like to see the 300M LHS 250 hp engine in the LXi. Stereo is good, love the chrome wheels.

Electrical problems: Windshield wiper intermittent problem in cold weather. Oxygen sensors - replaced about 7 in 123k miles. Lots of engine warning lights. Requested meeting with regional at rep on computer problems. Would not setup. Manager of Barton Chrysler - Union City GA. advised that I had over 100k miles - should expect to have car in for problems every three months or so! Have owned 5 Chrysler products. This has required the most repairs of any car owned since 1959.

  • Havent found a better car for the $$ - 1999 Chrysler Concorde

Purchased used with the 2.7 liter option in it, was skeptical about the drop in engine size, however 200 hp moves this car well in 95% of traffic situations. Handling is great, I upgraded rear struts to performance package for better cornering.

Ive never owned a vehicle with so many problems. Brakes, transmission, computer, sensors....the list goes on. Chrysler is in denial and wont admit to their faults. Would never buy another Chrylser product.

  • Never again - 2 blown head gaskets - 1997 Chrysler Concorde

I will never again buy a Chrysler. At 50,000 miles the car blew a head gasket. This weekend it blew a second at only 71000 miles. I am going out now to buy a new car, and I guarantee it wont be a Chrysler. By the way, it also has an unreliable gas guage, guzzles fuel, and the air never works long. Two months ago, I replaced the bad front rack ($700). Also steers to the right even though the alignment is correct. Replaced both front tie rods. Other problems in the front as well that I hadnt fixed yet.

This is the first Chrysler product that I have owned since 1959. The quality level is miles better than the last one. As you can see I have black listed their products for 43 years. I have owned several Ford products over the years but found that between 60k and 80k miles they fall apart. I have owned several GM products and continue to own, since new, a 1989 Cadillac DeVille with 125k miles on the odometer. Id buy another Cadillac but they priced them out of my reach. I can only hope that my new Concorde will hold up over the next several years.

Recently purchased a used Chrysler Concorde LXI. This car has all the bells and whistles anyone could imagine. Ive never been a real Chrysler fan, with their past history of transmission problem. However, after taking this car for a ride I soon changed my mind. It seems like a very solid car that rides well. I am a 41 year old male with a wife and 4 young daughters. I am also 6 4" tall and weigh 260 pounds. Plenty of room up front and back. The only problem that I had was a very small oil leak underneath. Took it to the garage several times and I still find fresh oil underneath the car. Overall, after driving this car for several months I believe I made a wise purchase.
