This car is a trojan horse. Nice car on the surface but has a number of potiental problems waiting to happen. I have spent $800.00 on a/c repair so far.The blower just went out and I was quoted $600.00 for that repair. The sun visor clips both snaped. Please build something that is made to last. The car is not cheap, so I expect some durability. I take great car of my car,but there is only so much I can do. Stop giving americans beautiful garbage to drive.

Great ride , Very comfy, Huge trunk, slightly limited view out of back window. Rides like a town car that handles well. Great car for the money.

I bought this car brand new and had over 123,000 miles on it before someone ran a red light and totaled it. Basically everything still worked except for a dash light here and there. Im sure it had lots of miles left in it. Reliable, no problem starting in 27 below zero even though it was parked outside. It did have a coolant leak problem that needed fixing on more than one occasion. And I didnt care for the way air hit you in the eyes when the defrost was on (contacts).

Transmission problems at 97,000. Rebuilt transmission at 98,000. Water pump replaced 95,000. Struts need replacing Gas mileage, about 17 mpg. Recommended fuel, mid grade 89 octane. Rear bumper paint fading, exposing prime.

I purchased this car used in 2000 and it has performed very well over the past 82,000 miles. Fuel ecomomy is great for such a large car. 28 to 29 mpg is comparable to a Honda Accord. Repairs have been low. A faulty sensor and a bad cooling fan have been the only repairs. My only complaints would be the discoloring head light covers and the sticking rear windows.

I have been looking at all the new SUVs and larger sedans until I saw the Concord on the internet. I have a new grandson and the two door vehicle that I did have was not very well suited to handle the required baby car seat. The LXI is very comfortable riding vehicle especially in the back seat.

  • Love/Hate relationship - 1994 Chrysler Concorde

I LOVED this car... until the transmission needed rebuilding at 60,000, and the ENTIRE a/c had to be replaced at 88,000 ($1700). Then there was the water pump and brakes, and how many other repairs that I simply didnt think should have needed repairing. When everything was working, I LOVED this car... until the next thing broke.

Bought this car in 1996 with 46K, now it has 237K - same 3.3L engine - burns no oil. Transmission problems big time all along - five torque converters in all, finally put in a mopar reman and all seems okay. Never stranded me.

  • Terrific car...very nice styling - 1997 Chrysler Concorde

Hello, I bought this vehicle being impressed with the interior leather seats and console design. True Chrysler dont have a resale value like Hondas, but who cares if you enjoy the vehicle as I have. I have had a Civic blow headgaskets twice, so much for Japenese reliability ha? There is nothing bad I can say about this vehicle, except for in wet pavement, its a little slippery. The engine is great, and very powerful, I rate this vehicle 9 1/2. Opher
