A car to avoid - 1996 Chrysler Concorde
By RippedOff - May 15 - 2:00 amThis car has been the most unreliable vehicle I ever purchased. Weve repaired the A/C 5 times, its gotten new heads, p/s pumps (3), water pumps (3), and a host of assorted items that my mechanic (Ive confirmed 80% of his diagnoses with the dealer) claims he never sees on other cars. Oh, replacing windshield wipers - $150 because the motor and wipers are hard connected.

Nice car - 1996 Chrysler Concorde
By Ryan C - May 13 - 2:00 amI was very impressed with my Chrysler. The engine and transmission are top rate. The 3.5L is very powerful and extremely smooth, as is the tranny. The LXI trim is very luxurious and comfortable on long trips. Interior design is very classy. I didnt expect such refinement out of a Chrysler but was pleasanly suprised. Handling is also quite good for a car of this size. Now the bad stuff: It eats gas with the upgraded engine, Also, although the car is quite reliable in most areas, Ive replaced the compressor for the air conditioning 3 times and its gone out again. At $800 a repair, Im just going to have to live without A/C!

Solid, reliable car - 2000 Chrysler Concorde
By Tsh - May 7 - 2:00 amGood car that averages about 20 mpg in the city and anywhere from 30-33 mpg. Lots of room and easily accomodates 5 passengers. Yes the engine power is a little on the lower side, but thats to be expected with such a large car being pushed by a 2.7l six cylinder. Huge trunk and plenty of room. Weve had the car for almost four years and 47,000 miles the only thing Ive replaced is the windshield wipers. The OEM brake shoes will need changed soon.

CONCORDE - the best family sedan - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By David J. - May 7 - 2:00 amThe body design/style for a family sedan is phenonenal - maintiang a sporting look like no other 4-door sedan on the market. The trunk space has bailed us out on long trips for four person, transporting large items we purchased from Home Deport/Wal- Mart ,etc. The interior comfort, amenities, ride, handling are as good as any of the Mercedes-Benz and BMW owned by my friends/colleagues. EXCELLENT VEHICLE

Owning has been an excellent experience. - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
By Ownedminesince1998 - May 3 - 2:00 amA great looking car, handles superbly on long trips. Has the lowest driving-associated fatigue of any Ive owned. Interior and trunk space are incredible. Fully loaded gets ~30 mpg on trips. Has been very reliable so far (75000 miles). Problems- Transmission sensor replaced under warranty, Developed window sticking, solved by cycling up and down weekly to keep them unstuck. This is the only design/engineering flaw that has disappointed me. Getting Michelins as replacement tires has improved road noise. Having driven a lot of rental cars, by comparison, I cannot understand why this car is not rated higher. Plan to keep 10 years.

By sucker4lemon - April 21 - 2:00 amWe bought the car on 02/03/2003 on 2/14/03 the center brake light (in the back window) stopped working it took them to replace it entirely 02/07/03 Driver side window slow going up they lubed it said it would work 02/14/03 driver side window clicking noise when going down, upon inspection found excessive body flex (whatever that is) 03/06/03 driver side window stops half way upon inspection the window regulator cable was snapped replaced regulator and cable .now 04/2004 the windows are still broken and the transmission is going! Unexpected Value - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By PMat - April 11 - 2:00 amI bought the car off lease for less than blue book with only 17,000 miles on it. Since I buy a used car every 2nd or 3rd year just to pile the miles on it, Im pleasantly surprised with the value of this car. Gas mileage is running 28 to 30 miles per gallon consistently. So far, from July to April 04 Ive put on 24,000 miles with no trouble at all! No unexpected surprises - just regular oil changes and the usual 30,000 mile, etc check ups. Very satisfied.
