  • Where Do I Start? - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

I bought this car in a hurry when the transmission on my old car gave out. I needed a car ASAP, so I didnt take a lot of time to look around. BIG MISTAKE! The first few months I had it the cow on the hood flew off in the highway, luckily it didnt hit anyone. Weeks after I bought it the back seat windows stopped working, will not raise up and down. My engine and transmission light come on every other week, have to put fluid in it all the time. Both front door handles are broken off. Top overhead lights dont work. CD player stopped working a year after I bought it. And just last week my window got off track for the second time, and the glass shattered all over me. NEVER BUY A CRYSLER!!!!

  • Watch out over 100K - 1995 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

Good car up to about 100K miles. Had numerous nagging and expensive issues starting at 90K miles. Air conditioning issues abound with a very expensive climate control panel failure. Front end problems resulting in numerous repairs but none prohibitively expensive. Car is fun to drive and handles well with more road noise than expected from this size vehicle.

  • Worst car I ever owned - 1998 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

Normally do not submit reviews, but this car was/is just so bad I cant help myself. 2 major problems before it hit 60k miles. Currently runs without an electronics, as the fuses all short out within a day of replacing. Local Chrysler dealer can not figure out whats wrong, so just told me to buy "alot of fuses". Various problems the car had to be towed twice. Air conditioner also broke down. $900 repair bill on that one. I dont have the nerve to sell it and burden another person with this vehicle. I will have to eat the 25G I lost on it. All the local dealer could tell me when I asked if this was a lemon was "parts go bad".

1999 Concorde - to many problems to talk about. Car burned in 2002.

  • Loved the 2000 model- Hate the 2002 mode - 2002 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

This car rides like a truck.Without the luxery touring options, like my 2000 had, this car belongs in a junk yard. There are too many complaints to mention.Because of this,I will never buy a Chrysler again. It is unfortunate because I loved my 2000 model.

  • Poor Car/Worse Dealership - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

Please do not make the same mistake I did when purchasing this car. Purchased the car new from a local dealership. Over the next three years the car needed the transmission replaced once, speed/shifting sensor went out twice, power windows went out twice (every window), wiring to back speakers went out, half the interior lights stopped working (not bulbs burnt out), and the engine smoked and knocked no matter what octane we used. Most of these were after the warranty expired and the dealership was the worst to deal with. Before this car I never considered buying from other than the Big 3 but I just purchased a Toyota to replace the Concorde

  • Never again will I buy a Chrysler!!!!!!! - 1994 Chrysler Concorde

Love the design, the 3.5, the audio system but even those gave me problems. Tranny had to be rebuilt a year after the engine was rebuilt. Water pump seemed to go every other year and he list can go on but the trophy goes for the front end suspension even after the recalls the problems kept re-occuring. Ended up giving it away!

  • Reliability not in Chrysler Dictionary - 1994 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

I guess Im just repeating the other unsatisfied drivers. A lot of A/C trouble,Waterpump failed a couple times, and now the second transmission has to go in.Its time that Chrysler takes an example at the Japanese! With this worthless reliability level,it is no surprise their business is going down.Maybe the flaws in the design are not a coincidence at all ! Maybe their engineers need to go take some classes in Tokyo ! All together,it is hard to believe that we can build a space shuttle , but not a reliable car.

  • Truly a lemon - 1994 Chrysler Concorde

This car has been a nightmare since I purchased it from a lease buyback. Low miles was should have assured me miles of driving before repairs. Off the top of my head I can remember a new air conditioning still under warranty. NOT UNDER WARRANTY a second air conditioning, new transmission at 43,000 miles, new track system at 30,000, new brakes at 50,000, new plugs and wires at 54,000, new water pump, timing belt, etc, at 56,000---I could go on but my check engine light has now come on and I am getting rid of this nightmare. Wish me luck

  • Never again - 2 blown head gaskets - 1997 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

I will never again buy a Chrysler. At 50,000 miles the car blew a head gasket. This weekend it blew a second at only 71000 miles. I am going out now to buy a new car, and I guarantee it wont be a Chrysler. By the way, it also has an unreliable gas guage, guzzles fuel, and the air never works long. Two months ago, I replaced the bad front rack ($700). Also steers to the right even though the alignment is correct. Replaced both front tie rods. Other problems in the front as well that I hadnt fixed yet.
