Looks and size matter but no Toyota - 1999 Chrysler Concorde
By California Bob - December 9 - 4:46 amBought it new for wife. Told her Toyota Avalon would be more reliable with better resale but she would not have it. Bought a gold LXI pretty much on looks and size. Dodge Intrepid was sportier but since we were expecting a child, trunk opening made the difference. Minivans at the time required removal of last seat to put anything more than a few grocery bags in... forget about it! Mostly pleased @6 years /36k miles but is no Toyota in terms of reliability or resale. Same problems you see others write about: transmission speed sensors (my dealer GOT ME for $800!) rubber grommets around headlights power lock failures 3 recalls (seat belt bolt, seat back bolt, shifter)

chrysler concorde - 2000 Chrysler Concorde
By cmm50 - September 14 - 2:00 amThe car rides great is very roomy and dependable. The one problem I have is the annoying noise my locks make. They make a loud screeching noise when used.

Why change? - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By Jumpy - August 27 - 2:00 amThe design of the concord was far a head of other cars . It gave you a sporty look in a sedan .The 2.7 engine gave you 30+miles to the gallon with comfort.

Love it except for one thing! - 2000 Chrysler Concorde
By ColoradoPeg - August 13 - 2:00 amI love my Chrysler Concorde LXI! Smooth ride, nice handling, sporty looks! Under warranty, my car has had the radio replaced 2 times for shorting out! The only thing I dont like is that there is no room for a front license plate & I got a ticket today for no front plate!

Great Choice!! - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By Bladano27 - June 24 - 2:00 amI drive 100 miles round trip to work and back and this car has been a savior. It is as comfortable to drive as it is to ride in. Trunk space is perfect for those long weekend trips with the family. A great family car that has some "Sport" to it!

Just a couple of issues - 2004 Chrysler Concorde
By K.Cory - June 21 - 2:00 amI really do love my car. It is the nicest Ive ever owned. Dusty roads seem to be my biggest problem. Already had the seals replaced, didnt work. Until this problem is resolved, I get dusted out. Had a problem with my cigerette lighter also. Keeps falling out of the dash. Wires and all. Had it fixed, did it again. Going back to the dealership. There is a burning smell, sort of like lighting a match that is present just after high exceleration, like passing. Had the dealer look at it, didnt get noticed. Still doing it, will get it looked at again. Anyone with the same concerns?

My door lock actuator also - 2000 Chrysler Concorde
By netfixr - June 1 - 2:00 amI love this car. It is fun to drive and very comfortable. It has been a reliable car too that I would recommend to anyone. I, however, have also had door lock actuators go bad. Two of them sometimes choose to not unlock.

95CONCORD 3.3 - 1995 Chrysler Concorde
By tshields - May 24 - 2:00 amProblems with suspension began at 35000 miles and continued. Also, Chrysler disc brakes pitted requiring pre-mature replacement. Chrysler tie-rods are of poor quality. Engine/transmission trouble free at 135,000 miles and body is perfect.
