  • Good overall everyday car - 1999 Chrysler Cirrus

Have had this vehicle from dealer, it has been a very good car. It has had the water pump replaced, the transmission gaskets replaced twice but all under warranty. It is now burning some oil but I have 74000 miles on it, we dont drive it very much. After the initial problems worked out it has been reliable. We loved the sportiness of the vehicle, it looks very sharp with the alloy wheels. I would recommend this car to anyone. The cup holders in the back are poorly designed and needs more room in the middle compartment(ours broke). It has a lot of power for a V-6 also which has been nice to have when needed on the highway. Overall a 9.

This car is great. Very roomy. Lots of leg room front or back. I have taken many long trips. And I never feel fatiged when I get where Im going like I do with my other cars.

I bought the car in January with 112,000 kms (previously only had 1 owner), and now its got 132,000 kms and I still havent brought it to a mechanic. We will bring it in for a check up before our third trip to see if everything is good. Theres some squeakiness from the front end when going on bumps, but thats about it.

Great running, looking car. Great gas mileage (300 miles to tank)!

Had some problems with power-steering, needed new pump or rack (dealer couldnt pinpoint problem) I find the steering still to heavy. Also find the LXi suspension too stiff. the front brakes seems to be rotated every 10.000 mls.

On the whole, I love this car.The only problems I have had have been the sun roof getting locked up whenit was open, and having the front seat bolts come loose, causing the seat the wobble. Both occurred while car was still under warranty. Driving the car is a pleasure, though I do not get the gas mileage others have reported.

I purchased the Chrysler Cirrus 3 years ago. The car looks great, rides good and takes imperfections in the road with very good control. I average over 30 miles to the gallon on long trips. I do not feel tired after 8 or 9 hours of driving I contribute this to the nice seat design. J.D. Powers rates cars after just 3 month of ownership stating owner satisfaction. I think 3 years is a better measuring tool. I have had not one problem. With Mercedes Benz working with the Chrysler auto group their cars can only get better. Nice job Chrysler.

  • Great Value - 1999 Chrysler Cirrus

This is alot of car for the money. That was true when I bought it new and its still true today. It has many standard features, including leather interior, that are expensive options on other cars. 45,000 miles and not a single problem. I think it holds its own against much more expensive cars.

I love my car. I bought it off the showroom floor. It was a demo with 4000 miles, but its a great car nonetheless. Leather interior, power driver seat, great handling and sunroof.
