No Regrets - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By Fred R - December 24 - 2:00 amI have been driving my 300M exclusively for almost 5 years. Has been very reliable in all weather. Had to have a sensor on the tranny replaced at about 40k, but otherwise no problems. It still looks new at 70k and is fun to zip through traffic in. Very nimble for a bigger car. It rides much better with Perellis than those Good Years it came with.

Fun to drive and noisy - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By JPIERRE - December 17 - 2:00 amThis car combines several qualities. No rust or sign of it after 6 years exposed to road salt in the Montreal winters. Still solid and no rattles. The reliability after the first 6 months of ajustments, is at par with other well renowned cars.

DONT buy this car without a warranty - 2000 Chrysler 300M
By Wesbar - December 16 - 2:00 amOverall quality of this car is pathetic as Ive had one problem after another. The rack and pinion had to be replaced ($800)after developing a dangerous amount of slack, the front passenger door lock actuator went out ($150), the drivers side speaker went out ($150) and now the fuel gauge is malfunctioning. I just paid the (Irving, TX) Chrysler dealership where the car was bought for a full tuneup ($200) at the 66,000 warranty service and they can do absolutely nothing about the very rough idle the car has developed. I can honestly say buying this car was a mistake and I will have absolutely nothing to do with Chrysler products in the future.

depreciation of car value - 2003 Chrysler 300M
By ggracer67 - November 30 - 2:00 amI love my 300M, but thought that I could go from an SUV to a car. Now almot 1 year later, I am trying to trade in my car and have been laughed at. My value went down almost $13,000 in 9 months. I have never heard of anything so crazy. I have had a few other minor things go wrong, but otherwise like my car. I love the look and the shape of the car.

Loved it for years but now disappointed - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By ListenupChrysler - November 29 - 2:00 amI used to love my 300M. What a great car at a good price. After 4 years and more than $8,000 in repairs Im done with Chrysler forever. My dealership and Chrysler corporate have been nothing short of terrible. I was set to put down a deposit on the new 300C Hemi, now Chrysler will never get another dime from me. After replacing the window motors, AC evaporator, transmission computer, starter motor, seat motors and numerous other parts Im broke and broken-hearted. I did not abuse this car, in fact I followed every maintenance interval and had the dealer service it every time.

A NOT So Special 300MSpecial - 2004 Chrysler 300M
By Barbs 300m not spec - November 7 - 2:00 amThe AC does NOT cool the passengers in the back seats. The molding on the inside of the doors pulls away about a 1/4 inch. Not a significant amount of UMPH over the regular 300M engine.It was maketed to me as a competeitor to BMW.... NOT! It is an affordable sporty nice sounding(exhaust) car with some style. Looks good. Just though it cold have been a little more special.

Nice Car But - 2002 Chrysler 300M
By cjd - November 4 - 2:00 amI enjoy the ride and handling of this car.I have been a chevy person for years but fell in love with looks and power. Overall it is a very nice car but I am having no luck with it. I have had the cam and crankshaft sensors replaced. The sound system is the worst 360 watts???? I have had to replace the transmission cooling lines 2 times in 20000 miles.I agree with the guy about the snow mobile in the trunk. The tires are a big mistake for a car in the northeast. I want my montecarlo back but this car looks great so I will keep it and hope it runs for a couple of years.

TOO MUCH ROAD NOISE!! - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By Paint Sales Rep. - October 26 - 1:00 amMy 99 300M is a company car. I drive 700 to 900 miles a week. All in all its not a bad car. I have had no problems in the first 50,000 mi. I find the ride very hard. The seats too firm and far too much road noise. The sound system is great. Probably not the car I would buy if given the choice. But would not rule it out.
