Poor quality car - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By Chrisy - May 26 - 2:00 amAll of my power windows had to be changed out due to motor breaking. Had problems with air system, car broke overheated and had to change compressor at 40K miles. 50k miles the stearing has major problems. Standard Goodyear tires that come with the car do not last very long with normal driving conditions at best 25K miles. I suggest everyone who considers buying this car get a extended bumper to bumper warranty to cover all the problems

Suspension below par - 2001 Chrysler 300M
By Tom L. - March 28 - 2:00 amMy last car was Lincoln Town Car, but I couldnt afford one this time around - the price for the 300M was good. It had minor problems, such as a parking brake light that will ot go out, despite having it fixed several times, and I cant trust that the parking brake will even disengage all the time, so I do not use it. The biggest problem is the suspension - very iffy". The car always slides out on sharp turns when starting from zero, as if the tires are turning under..

Good price, sacrifice quality - 2000 Chrysler 300M
By ScottVT - January 20 - 2:00 am2nd chrysler product Ive bought, will be my last. The power- everything options is where the quality shows through. For the first 2 1/2 years I had no major problems. Since then, my engine cut out on me while on an off ramp, almost causing an accident. Carbon buildup in the throttle bore (29k miles). Power window went bad. Power seat shifted around as i drove (dealer considered "normal"). You get what you pay for. Car is nice to look at and comfortable to drive, but still k- car quality. They consistantly rank at the low end of reliability for a reason.

Problems, Problems, Problems - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By Trazar - January 6 - 2:00 amI purchased this car in February of 99, and have had the starter replaced, A/C Fan replaced (2X), Engine Cooling Fan replaced, drivers side window motor......although it is fun to drive and is very roomy for a person of my height (63"), Chrysler has to work out the problems that I have been seeing in these reviews!

AWFUL Quality and Reliability - 2003 Chrysler 300M
By mack the knife - December 4 - 2:00 amThis car has a nice design, but the build and quality control are terrible. I have had problems with: electric windows, electric seat, air conditioner compressor, and stereo speakers. I have leased mine and cant wait to turn it in. This is my first and last Chrsyler product.

Repairs, repairs, repairs..... - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By dave123 - December 3 - 2:00 amWe purchased our 1999 300M about 11 months ago. It had 35,000 miles on it. Since then, the following repairs have occurred: door lock motor (twice), window mechanism, warped rotor, cracked evaporator coil, spindle bearings and now a broken transmission seal.

BAD EXPERIENCE - 2003 Chrysler 300M
By radcliff - November 25 - 2:00 amWE LIKED HOW THE CAR HANDLES AND DRIVES, BUT IT ALWAYES HAS SOMETHING GOING WRONG WITH IT AND CHRYSLER WONT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT. THE POWER WINDOWS HAS BROKE FOUR TIMES. THE POWER LOCKS HAVE BROKEN TWICE. THE A/C WENT BAD AFTER 41000 MILES. THE FUEL SENSOR WENT BAD. THE LIST GOES ON & ON. WE WILL NEVER BUY A CHRYSLER PRODUCT AGAIN.

Nice Design Poor Build - 2003 Chrysler 300M
By rocketman - November 20 - 2:00 amMy 300M is a nicely designed car: good looking, comfortable and roomy. But the quality and reliability are awful. I have a 3 year lease which is about to run, and so far Ive had problems with: electric window (2 times), electric drivers seat, air conditioning compressor, and stereo speakers. No way will I keep it or get another.

Too Many Faulty Electronic Parts - 1999 Chrysler 300M
By Honda Driver Soon - November 9 - 2:00 amWindow operators failed until they replaced all four, driver door switch wont control passenger window, two key memory settings never stay set side view mirrors move when gear shift moved into neutral turning of ignition switch 1st time gets no starter response, usually reequires turning twice Ignition switch replace once previously car drives and handles good, 26-28 mpg gas mileage, arm rest are too far from body to be comfortable for a man 62" although this is wifes car. Road noise from tires is beyond excessive for a car that cost this much I dont care what their excuse is.

Unhappy - 2000 Chrysler 300M
By Bezant - October 26 - 2:00 amTransmission seals replaced twice and transmission still clunks when shifting. Power windows quit twice. Blower motor quit in middle of winter. Plastic cap fell off wheel due to rust. Vinyl trim around inside of door openings shrank and was replaced. If you please, I was told by a dealer employee that it was because I failed to leave the windows down a bit on hot weather. Hogwash!!!
