  • 1999 300M vs. 2004 300M Special - 2004 Chrysler 300M
    By -

Loved the 1999 300M in every respect therefore just bought the 2004 300M Special version. So far, I love the handling, power and looks, but am surprised to find the 2004 lacking in lighted power window controllers, headlight switch and central lock switches, as well as door courtesy lights, all standard on the 1999 version.

  • Looks Are Deceiving!!!!! - 1999 Chrysler 300M

The car only looks nice. I would never buy another Chrysler in my life.Everything that can go wrong, did go wrong. The car is in the shop every other month.Windows, Speed sensors, fans, modules, mirror controls, brakes parts, speakers etc. there are no warnings! the car just quits anytime, anywhere. One time I had not been out of it 30 minutes,I got back in,it would not start. (modules). One day I was one my way home from the repair shop and it quit, you fix one thing and something else goes bad!!! Chrysler needs to have a lifetime warranty on this car.

  • Very Impressed - 2004 Chrysler 300M

After spending over 6 months reviewing numerous vehicles, I finally decided on a 2004 Chrysler 300M Special. The car is absolutely beautiful to look at, and a blast to drive. With a $4,000 rebate and dealer discounts, I purchased the vehicle for slightly less than Edmunds.com TMV (which is a bargain!). I considered waiting for the 2005, however after seeing the new design (and price increase!), it was an easy decision to stick with the 2004. I believe it looks much better than the 2005. The car is sporty, roomy, and (I hate to use this word) practical. Plenty of room, power and looks for anyone.

  • depreciation of car value - 2003 Chrysler 300M

I love my 300M, but thought that I could go from an SUV to a car. Now almot 1 year later, I am trying to trade in my car and have been laughed at. My value went down almost $13,000 in 9 months. I have never heard of anything so crazy. I have had a few other minor things go wrong, but otherwise like my car. I love the look and the shape of the car.

  • Loved it for years but now disappointed - 1999 Chrysler 300M

I used to love my 300M. What a great car at a good price. After 4 years and more than $8,000 in repairs Im done with Chrysler forever. My dealership and Chrysler corporate have been nothing short of terrible. I was set to put down a deposit on the new 300C Hemi, now Chrysler will never get another dime from me. After replacing the window motors, AC evaporator, transmission computer, starter motor, seat motors and numerous other parts Im broke and broken-hearted. I did not abuse this car, in fact I followed every maintenance interval and had the dealer service it every time.
