  • I Hate To Give It Up - 1999 Chrysler 300M

Mine just got totaled! Daily driver commuting to work from 12/99 until I retired 6/06. Since then occasional use only. Serviced at recommended intervals and Mobil 1 and filter every 3K miles. The ONLY repair it has ever required is replacing the drive motor on the drivers window and I live in a very icy climate that destroys power windows and windshield wiper mechanisms. It is the only vehicle Ive ever owned that I can literally say I never had problems with it and it ran as well on the day it died as it did on the day I bought it. I kept telling myself that it was getting old and I should get a new car but I never found anything I liked better that didnt have a 3-pointed star.

  • I own two of them - 1999 Chrysler 300M

This is the only car in my life that I bought a second one of. Both are 1999 models and I bought them both used from original owners about 5 years apart. The most comfortable driving car I have ever owned by far. The same problems in both such as speed sensors going bad at the front of the transmission. Between the two cars I have replaced 4 of them. Over all I would call them very reliable. As of 10-09 one has 199,000 miles on it (and still going strong) and the other has 88,000 miles on it. A very stylish car. When I take cross country trips or any trips where I drive more than an hour I ALWAYS turn on the heated front seats. You would be amazed at how much better your back feels.

  • Best car of the chryslers - 1999 Chrysler 300M

The 300M is the best car weve driven. Other than having to replace the radiator and replacing a bolt, weve had no other problems. It rides very smooth. I would recommend the 300M to all my friends and family

  • Still Own and Drive It - 1999 Chrysler 300M

We purchased this vehicle new in early 1999 and still own and drive it daily because it totally serves our needs. The 300M has been very reliable, still has solid looks and is very comfotable, economical but sporty.

  • Ill miss this car - 1999 Chrysler 300M

Ive had my 300M for almost 7 years, the longest Ive ever kept a car. (I bought my first in 1968.) I had always driven small foreign coupes before this car, but I fell in love with the styling and it was time for a "grown- up" car. I didnt expect to like driving such a big vehicle, but the engine has so much power Ive enjoyed every minute behind the wheel. Ive also loved all the cargo and passenger space. It has been quite reliable, though now, at 71,000 mi., Im beginning to have electrical problems. And Ive decided I need AWD, so Im getting ready to trade in my M. I will miss it, no matter what replaces it. And it will always rank right up there with my very favorite cars.

  • Like a dream! - 1999 Chrysler 300M

This has been the best car I have ever owned. It has been wonderfully reliable and I love driving it. I am only sorry they stopped making it or I would buy another.

  • Great Car - 1999 Chrysler 300M

This is a great car - distinctive styling (not like those Tupperware- looking foreign jobs) and high performance and great reliability. Plus, its fun to drive and can take the sharpest curve at high speeds. Go Chrysler....GO U S A !

  • Great America Car - 1999 Chrysler 300M

This car has been a pleasure to own and drive. It is very reliable, with absolutely NO mechanical problems. Just regular Maintenance. Long trips are very enjoyable in comfort, ride, and amenities such as an excellent CD stereo system. Gas milieage on highway is as high as 27, with about 21 city. Performance is very resonsive and quick.

  • Cant Find Anything to Replace It! - 1999 Chrysler 300M

One of the best cars Ive ever owned. (And the first American car -- always been a Japanese car buyer.) Great styling. Huge trunk. Comfy front and rear seats. Lots of luxury for the price. Aside from routine maintenance, virtually no repair costs. GREAT bang for the buck. I sorta want a new car now, this time AWD. Thought the 300C would be it, but I hate the skimpy windows. Guess Ill hang on to my beloved 300M a while longer -- FWD isnt great on hills in snow, but weve had a fairly mild winter! If you can find this used in good condition w/ low mileage, dont hesitate. Its a WONderful car. Motor Trend Car of the Year in 99 and it deserved it.

  • Impressive - 1999 Chrysler 300M
    By -

It doesnt get any better than this, especially for an American made car. I have owned a variety of cars over my 36 year driving career, including Toyota, BMW,Honda and many other American (GM, Ford)cars and have never been more pleased with the power, driveability, style and comfort. My only complaint is the road noise on concrete pavement. Great car for a very fair price.
