Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

An instant classic - 2006 Chrysler 300
By jerrymax - March 22 - 10:38 pmThe first time I saw a Chrysler 300C it took my breath away. This car stands out in the crowd and I still notice every one I see on the road. I dont yet own one but a couple of years ago I rented a 300 Touring edition for a week. I put nearly 400 miles on it and loved every minute of it. Even with the V6 engine it had plenty of power, it handled beautifully for a full sized car weighing nearly two tons, and it had tremendous brakes. Fuel economy was very good and comfort level in its cavernous interior was great. I liked everything about the car very much and will probably buy one eventually but I still own a nice Maxima and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, so my vehicle needs are met already.

Best Performance Buy - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Brett Schaffter - March 11 - 6:30 pmI traded in my MB CLS 500. I love this 425 HP engine. I have owned over 20 cars, at all prices ranges, and the 300 SRT8 is one of my favorites.

A Great American Sedan! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By afwxforecaster - March 1 - 11:23 pmI recently purchased a 300C Heritage Edition, after trading in my 2003 Audi A4. Now, I absolutely loved my A4, and would recommend it to anyone. However, I wanted something a little larger, because the A4 was just getting a little tight for my family. I am extremely impressed by the 300C. It is large, comfortable, luxurious, and has never ending power. The interior and exterior styling is first class. I recommend this car to anyone who is looking at the large car segment...this is truly a great American sedan!

Best ever - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Bob - February 28 - 8:23 pmI have owned 27 different cars in the past 45 years. All of them have been American cars (at least in name). I have had my 2005 300C for 7 months and I still get a big smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. This car is amazing. I love everything about it, especially the Hemi. Years ago I owned cars with powerful engins, but nothing compares to this Hemi. Combining the power with the stability control and the suspension, transmission and brakeing system makes it a car worth thousands more than the sticker price. I constantly get compliments about the exterior looks. I get about 18MPG on my daily driving and about 24 on the highway).

2006 300c srt8 - 2006 Chrysler 300
By dana denny - February 2 - 12:22 pmGood interstate driver. Like the handling on secondary roads. Good cornering. Car feels balanced but I know that the car is front end heavy. Power when I need it but the nav system will get you lost. Left rear power window quit working.

Wonderful vehicle! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By monopoly - January 2 - 10:13 pmI have driven $70k cars and this one ranks right there with them. Dealership left alot to be desired. Vehicle is as smooth as one could dream of. I am not getting anywhere near the mialage they say I should and I am not pushing this car. I am averaging 16.9 and I drive 50 miles a day on the highway with light city. My concord was 22.5 all day long! Some items seam cheaper then I would have liked. Chrome rims almost feel plastic, definitely do not feel like alloys. I think they are just plated. Does not show instant MPG, always was my fav. feature of the chrysler. Not an option on this one. Visor mirrors are that of a base cavalier. All in all, it is the best car I have ever owned. FAST!!!!

best yet - 2006 Chrysler 300
By al amirault - December 28 - 6:43 amI have been driving Chrysler products for 25 years. The 2006 Chrysler 300C is by far the best yet. I live in Colorado. I purchased my vehicle in MA while on vacation and drove it home. To date I have no complaints.
