Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

Fantastic Automobile - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Indiana Dave - May 28 - 9:41 pmBoth my wife and I were attracted to this car because of its distinctive styling. After 2 years, we still think it looks great and love driving it. We considered a midsize but, in hindsight, the larger car was the right choice, especially with two boys 12 & 15. The 3.5 L engine provides plenty of power. I was concerned about getting rear wheel drive but the traction control performed magnificently in the Colorado snow, and it was snowy, this past Christmas. This car has definitely surpassed my expectations.

Outstanding vehicle - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Demetrius - May 27 - 8:02 amI have not had any real problems out of the car since I bought it. I have only had some pinging from the engine and it turned out to be a failed valve. Other than that, it handles great, has enough power (if I wanted more then I would have bought the SRT- 8) and has a very comfortable ride. Outstanding reliable vehicle for the pricing.

SRT8 doesnt disappoint - 2006 Chrysler 300
By SRT8 - May 12 - 3:36 pmI bought this SRT8 primarily for the performance of the 6.1 Hemi I have not been disappointed with any aspect of it. It has been absolutely reliable and I have not returned it to the dealer for any warranty adjustments. The drivetrain performance is stellar, the lighting is fantastic, and the build quality is the best Ive ever seen in production cars. Its exciting to drive and, when I drive it conservatively, it attains 18+ MPG...but I didnt buy it to conserve gas.

Awesome Car - 2006 Chrysler 300
By roadbeagle - May 7 - 6:01 amIve owned Acuras, and test driven BMWs and Mercedes. This car outdrives them all, and you do it in plush comfort. This car almost drives itself, and makes commuting a breeze. It even gets decent gas mileage, since it has the feature where it can cut out four of the values when they are not needed for acceleration, which really boosts your gas mileage.

Favorite car, EVER! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Carol - April 17 - 9:19 amI drive the 300 Signature Touring (black!)with dual transmission and it is the best car Ive ever owned. I have never gone two years and not cared about trading "up" until now. I am still madly in love and only occasionally thing of getting another 300. The car is big, comfy, has an amazing sound system that my kids are very proud of, a huge trunk, and the exterior is the bomb! Love the navigation system, and I am a happy girl with the dual transmission since I adore the power-purr as I downshift to pass. Fantastic job Chrysler! Dont change the exterior! Looking forward to checking into the extended version with our super tall family 66", 65", 63", etc.---Great car!!!:)

Beautiful looking Car - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Norman Jorgensen - April 3 - 5:53 pmThis car is beautiful. We get a lot of people stopping us to take a look at it. It runs nice and smooth. It has all the luxury you can ask for at an afforable price. We are always on the road traveling somewhere and this car is very dependable. We do put on quite a few miles each year. We have all the goodies that you can ask for. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who wants to feel safe and comfortable. It is like a dream to drive. Chrysler has really done a great job in the past 5-6 yrs with there cars, especially the style. Keep up the good work.

Lews Chrysler 300 Limited - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Lew Gordon - March 27 - 1:31 pmI purchased this vehicle with 18K miles on it and added tinted windows, styling kits on the outside, new 20" cool rims and tires. The car came with all the wood fancies you could find inside. The previous owner kept this car soooo immaculate. I am glad not to drive a Cadillac Eldorado anymore, and especially after two of them. The color is Cool Vanilla outside with cream leather interior and I get so many looks on the road. Honestly, it is the nicest one I have seen so far. A real eye stopper. The seats could be more comfortable (very Benz inside) and could adjust in more ways. I wish I had folding mirrors and rear-assist. LOVE this car!
