The car is terrific. Great handling, comfort and exterior styling. The fuel economy is not good. Chrysler offered no help when I contacted them. The interior should be more exciting for a $40,000 car. Acceleration is fantastic, too bad it drinks so much gas when you put the petal to the metal. The AWD car should have standard 20" wheels, that would make the car look much better. The toys (GPS, Sirius radio, back up warning, up windows automatic, wipers that do not need to turned on etc, etc) are great fun and makes the car more enjoyable. Im anxiously awaiting when DCX decides to put a diesel engine in this car. Until then I keep this one.

I always liked unique things. The 300C with its break-away styling and powerful engine fills the bill. This is a fun car in every way. I drive 64 miles each day and the 300C is a pleasure to drive. The ride is comfortable and the sound system with with Sirius shortens the trip. As an original member of the rock and roll generation (now in my 60s) I couldnt afford a muscle car back then, but I can now and Im loving it. If all you want is transportation dont buy this car - get an Avalon. My wife has 2005 Avalon and she would rather drive my car, but I wont let her!

This Vehicle is overrated.Lots of little things missing that I had in my previous vehicle (2002 Grand marquis) Road noise is excessive.

  • very good until fire - 2006 Chrysler 300

Jan 5 2007 my 300 caught on fire in spite of returning car in Sept for a recall to fix a fire hazard . The fire started in the engine compartment and although I am no expert - the fire started exactly where the fire described in the recall would have been. The SURPRISE was the fire in the trunk. The fire under the hood must have shorted out some wires and caused the battery (in trunk) wires to melt to the point it caught the carpet in the trunk on fire and there was a pretty big fire next to the gas tank. Thats when I discover there was NO WAY to open the trunk - ALL ELECTRICAL was out. Chrysler is a disappointment in handling my problem. Been very happy with the car until this fire

Overall, a great, full to drive and true head turner. The Hemi gives the car plenty of get up and go, acceleration is outstanding and responsive. Plenty of interior room, well laid out instrumentation. Seating needs more bolstering, better designed buckets to keep you from sliding, better interior noise dampening to provider a quieter ride and reduce wind and road noises. The vehicle appearance demands attention and gets you notice on the road. Longer seat bottoms are needed for tall driver, or seat extension. Car provides great leg room. I am over 6 feet and this cars allows me to adjust my seat all the way back and still have room to get in the back seat and be comfort. Great car.

The exterior of the car is the most beautiful on the road today. The interior lacks the luxury that should be included in this car.

I bought my 300C in December, 2005 and can only say it is the finest car I have ever owned. I was a GM owner for 20 years, but this car spoke to me after I rented one on business trip. Great styling, smooth ride with plenty of power. The leather seating (with heat), the hands-free bluetooth phone, Satellite radio- the car has amenities galore. All of the time I get comments like "nice car" if the person is over 35 and "nice ride" of they are under 30. It is easy to see that Chrysler has a big hit with the 300 as I see them all the time on the road. A great car that is worth every penny I paid for it.
