Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

my c - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Rich - July 16 - 11:20 amMy 300c has plenty of reserve power, and great looks, but the transmission lags as does its ability to corner tight. All in all if your a patient driver, youll love this baby. The ride needs to be smoother over bumps.

By Andy - July 2 - 8:06 amI purchased my 300 Limited just 2 weeks ago and LOVE this car! The stylish exterior to the wonderful smooth ride you cant ask for a better car in the low to mid $30s. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a large sedan.

Im thrilled with it - 2006 Chrysler 300
By wiskydelta - June 14 - 9:03 pmThis car is super fast, Ive had it up to 135 and Ive been told the govner kicks in at 155. Its also smooth and quiet to drive. Mine is a 2005, they will come down on a 05 but they want full sticker price on a 06, I paid $300 over invoice. This is also my first non-GM vehicle.

06 300 Limited 3.5 - 2006 Chrysler 300
By carhopper - June 2 - 1:24 pmIn my opinion Chrysler does not deserve the "poor vehicle quality" reputation everyone seems to know them by. I purchased my 300 as a one year old used car with 23k existing miles on it. I have owned the car for nearly two years now and the odometer currently reads 63000. I have never had to bring this car into the shop for any repair work of any type. Nothing has ever broken. It alway starts and gets me where I need to go. The brakes are original and still have life left.

Love my 300C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Carrie - May 21 - 7:20 pmGot a great deal on a loaded 300C/AWD - its beautiful inside and out. Nothing to complain about at all - Ive let many of my friends and family drive it or borrow it. Everybody loves the smooth ride and comford. I would be confident to highly recommend this car to anyone whos thinking about getting one. Young and old alike, its a looker. As my teenager said, "Its a luxury race car" - it outclasses the old mans Cadillac, Lucerne and shouldnt even be in the same category as any boring Ford. Its in a class of its own.

A true performance sedan - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Greg - May 16 - 10:24 pmThe Chrysler 300 SRT 8 takes performance too a whole new level. I previously owned a 300 C and I thought it was impresive but the SRT8 goes to another level. I love the sport/muscle car performance and also all of the luxuries of a world class sedan.

Great car / 3.5 liter--5 speed - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Ben - May 9 - 11:24 amBought car in 2007. The only trouble I had was the dealer had to replace the "mixer", which is the knob you use to switch the air flow. The car has been very good. Gas mileage on the highway (which is most of my driving) is 25 mpg to 28.6 mpg, which is fully loaded trunk and back seat @ 75 MPH. From Michigan to Florida and other parts of the country. The quality of gas really has alot to do with the mileage. Ive tried them all. Its supposed to be run on mid grade, but that hasnt been the case either. Last time (feb & mar) just ran it on regular, and the mileage got better and better from the start of the trip to the end. ended with 28.6 mpg. One other thing is I run Synthetic oil. Has 27K

300 C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Bob - April 30 - 11:40 pmAn incredible automobile. Ive owned Lexuses, Infinitys, Porsches, Caddys, Lincolns, Jaguars and this car is right there amongst the best for half the price. Faster than all, not quite as quiet, but Id ride to Virginia and enjoy the trip all the way. A magnificent auto.

AOK except? - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Florida300man - April 28 - 11:10 amGreat car for the money! Performance all aroud is a 10! Only problem is Visibility . . . . side windows, and rear is the worst visibility. I have had first accident in my life as a result after 40+ yrs. of driving, not serious, but was due to poor visibility....also high profile tires will only last 15k miles tops.
