This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

  • Best American car since the 1950s - 2005 Chrysler 300

I just traded in a 2000 Saturn L-series for the 300C. Looking back at the old window sticker of the Saturn, I realized I paid only 7K less than I did on the 300C--that number would decrease with inflation. A small difference in money can really buy you a car thats light years ahead of anything else on the market. This car offers so much style, performance, and value that I couldnt even consider another car.

Love the car, but after a week+, some warts showed up. Like flimsey rear fender liners and lower rear fenders. All plastic and they are, shall we say, flexible. I took the front license bracket off and the front bumper is all plastic also. Wonder if it could survive a .5 mph crash? Power, styling, and build quality seem very good otherwise. Interior is very quiet. Mines loaded, and I love the nav system. Bought a new bluetooth phone and the UConnect system works great! Buy one before theyre all gone!

I love the styling, performance and best of all its priced right. Waited many years for an American car that "I had to buy". This one was worth the wait.

  • American Style and Quality Return - 2005 Chrysler 300

As a loyal Mercedes owner, I had been fighting the urge to be interested in the Chrysler 300 ever since I first saw the concept car. Seeing the 300 on the road this year, I found myself to be continually intrigued by it. However, once I sat behind the wheel and drove the car this summer, I was absolutely smitten!! This car has lit a passion for American cars unlike ever before. The sense of quality, style and value the 300 carries is incomparable to any recent car since the early 60s! In fact, if you look closely, youll see styling cues reminiscent of the infamous 1961 Lincoln Continental, whose "slab sides" revolutionized the car industry.

  • luxury and power - 2005 Chrysler 300

everyones comment feels like im driving a $250,000 car. value, power, style its all in the 300c. so comfortable it feels as though the car is chaufering me. and when i am on the freeway and those darn trucks drive in convoy i only have to hit the gas and she serenely overtakes them all without even a whisper. the car and i have found each other, two sophisticated ladies who like to be admired. nothing on the road today comes near this car its a keeper.

  • 300C and Love It - 2005 Chrysler 300

I bought my 300 last March and I love it completely. I hate to drive anything else now. The luxuary and comfort of my 300 is incrediable. I recommend only this car. I have had offers to upgrade or trade in my 300 and I just cant bear to be without "MY" 300, the answer is always NO thank you.

  • Living Up to Expectations - So Far - 2005 Chrysler 300

A joy to drive and look at. Plenty of power and a smooth ride. I have had the car for 10 months now. Although I have a couple of minor irritations to be corrected (alarm goes off and auto wipers dont automatically shut-off after using washer), I havent been back to the dealer yet. Wished pass seat had power controls - my 300M did!

  • Fun Car to Drive - 2005 Chrysler 300

I love this car.The ride is smooth, quiet and cofortable. I love the attention it gets when I drive down the street. The price was a real bonus. I expected that a car looking so expensive would cost a lot more than it did. A couple little drawbacks...The high beams on the turn signal arm sometime go on by accident sometimes while signaling a turn. Also, I found the windows a little hard to get used to. I mean they seem small and I feel like my veiw is limited.

The 300 Hemi C is not just a powerhouse, bringing back the rear wheel drive muscle car to Chrysler, it has an impressive and luxurious quiet ride. The MDS (multiple displacement system) allows the 340 h.p. Hemi to get fuel economy in the upper 20s on the hwy. due to shutting off 4 cylinders when they are not needed. The Mercedes Brand also bleeds through with an "E" class retuned suspension and a Mercedes design transmission with auto-stick. Just an AWWWESOME Ride!!!!!
