This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

I have always owned a more expensive cars until I saw this one! It runs wonderful and have no complaints! I have several antique cars for week end fun but cant stop driving this car. I have a 6000 sq ft Victorian in a upscale area and everyone is walking over to look at the car instead of the vette and house. What a value for the money. I may buy the Hemi!

  • Chrysler 300C, A Joy to Drive - 2005 Chrysler 300

Right from the day I bought it, the Hemi sedan has been comfortable, powerful, attractive and dependable. It is now eighteen months old , and it still turns heads and invites compliments. It is a joy to drive.

If Chrysler would give me $10 for every conversation Ive had with gawkers, I could actually purchase another 300C. Great highway car. The solid, rattle- free construction makes it a real pleasure to drive. Passengers have had rave reviews for comfort and legroom and my wife, with 2 artificial knees, claims she has never been in a car that is more comfortable and I have owned LHSs, Town Cars, and Grand Marquis.

Love the car! Happy with just about everything except fuel economy and climate control. Not a day goes by without a thumbs up from people I drive by. Would be a good idea for promoting it, not that it cant do it on its own. We switshed from a 300E Mercedes and feel we got a great value.

  • You cant ask for more! - 2005 Chrysler 300

This is an incredible automobile. It should someday be a classic or at least a collector favorite. I have had show cars and hot rods my whole life so I have an intimate knowledge of cars. This one does just about everything right. You cant ignore the brutal exterior looks or the sound of the Hemi under acceleration. The handeling is absolutly superb for a vehicle of this size, weight and shape. As you probably know, everything you do to a car to improve either the handling or power or what have you is a trade off. Chrysler has hit all of these nails right on the head. If it handled better the ride would suffer. More power the mileage and smoothness would be gone. Chrysler has hit a HOME RUN

It has been a great purchase so far. The air conditioning clutch has been a problem. Chrysler sent out a notice on it, but not a fix. The car sounds like it has an engine knock. Otherwise its all good. The interior should have some better appointments, not so much plastic, and the carpet coul be a better quality. The car drives very well, no surprises. We are averaging 21.8 in town and 27.6 on the road.

  • Zero traction on snow. - 2005 Chrysler 300

Great car styling and ride as well as other features, but absolutely HORRIBLE on even the slightest amount of snow, even with after market snow tires on all fours. Truly DANGEROUS. Rear wheel drive is a big mistake if using the car in areas of snow accumulation. Traction control seems to be no help at all even on a 1/4 inch of fresh snow. Rear wheels just spin.

  • My 1st Chrysler - 2005 Chrysler 300

I think Chrysler has raised the bar & hit on a great design that turns heads, offers enough power with the Hemi and packed in all the creature comforts one could possibly need. Im only into the 1st 3500 miles, but Im still looking for excuses to drive it somewhere.

  • Love my 300C - 2005 Chrysler 300

Ive owned chryslers for 30 years, and this is the best ever. I traded in my Dodge RT Durango, which I loved, except I only got 9mpg. I get over 20 mpg on highway in my 300. This is the best buy on the market there is. Co- worker has 75000$ bmw 7-series, and I would take my chrysler 300 straight up.
