This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

My wife did not like the looks until she saw one in person, then she thought it looked very classy. Me too, and its got a HEMI!! :-) Solid, smooth, makes me feel elegant while burning rubber.

OK gas mileage around town. 25 MPG on highway. When you need to go the HEMI knows just what to do. So glad I got this car.

After looking and buying the new 300 I would say this has to be one of the best Chryslers ever. THe ride reminds me of a expensive import sedan.

although this sedan has a very good amount of engineering, our chrysler buddies have failed temendously in utilising continental tires for this vehicle. if you are seriously considering the purchase of a new 300c, please, do not drive off the lot with one wearing these tires (continental). 15,000 miles into my new car and chrysler will not help me. they of course blame the tire manufacturer. the tire manufacturer will assis in pro-rating the tires but i know tht in another 15,000 miles i will need another set.

  • Stopped shifting @ 3500 miles - 2005 Chrysler 300

Loved the 300C until it stopped going forward and reverse at only 3,500 miles. Has been in the shop for 8 days now and dealership cant figure out the problem. Theyve taken the transmission apart and are waiting to hear from Chrysler on what to do next. Ive submitted my 15 day notice to Chrysler to have it fixed or give me back my money per my states lemon law. Needless to say, were greatly disappointed.

I love this vehicle..What a head turner.Good looks . The 6 cylinder is better than my sts caddy. Gas milage could be better. Visibility problems when changing lanes. Huge blind spots..Side view mirrors a must to use. If you are waiting at a red light ...And you are first in line...You have to duck to see the light...That is a pain in the u know what ..Otherwise the car is great!!!!! You dont even realize your driving..Fast smooth ride..Loads of trunk space,,reclining back seats more trunk space. Super family car. Excellent for tall folks.

This is our 15th Chrysler, & we love it for its ease of handling, roominess, beauty, fuel economy, you name it, its got it. We chose the Magnesium color due ot its ability to change color in different lights. People are constantly coming up to us, asking how we like the car. I rate this one a solid 10.
