This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

This car has it all.... Power, comfort, and the best drive Ive ever had. I just got my 300C after ordering it with all you can get on it. The power of the Hemi- went from 40mph to 105mph in just a few seconds and had some left. The ride is, well.... I dont know how to say what this car can do. Drive one and you will see.

Just picked the 300C up. Picked it over 745i and LS430. Im sorry but all you Bimmer/Lexus/MB owners are leaving a lot of dough on the table!! This car is fantastic at a great price. Runs like a champ, handles, rides comfortably. I have no complaints. Love the retro styling too.

Fantastic in all respects EXCEPT one. If you go with any of the 6-cylinder choices, dont expect rocket-like performance when you hit the pedal. The eight was more $ but after having the six in my Concorde, I learned. The six had so much pollution control eqp. on it, it is amazing it accelerates at all.

A really big bang for the money. Great style, presence, and performance. Very nice 23MPG during easy highway cruising. Great radio, GPS, and sports like handling and large interior space.Appeals to board range from youth to CEO.

I just purchased the car. I always drove a 8 cyl...This car has just as much power or more with the v6 on the limited edition than i did with my sts cadillac. Loads of leg room ..Navigation system a must have...Great family car unreal truck space....Everyone looks at the car ...Worth every penny so far. I love it.

  • 2.7 litre more than enough - 2005 Chrysler 300
    By -

The 2.7 litre engine has more than enough power for snappy performance. There is a good mix of zip and fuel economy with this engine. I drive mostly at sea level with no hills, but there is no lack of power on high bridges. Road Handling is very, very good.Fit and finish are excellent. The tilt lever for the steering wheel needs an upgrade. This is one very fine car for the price. Style is form following function but the looks are first rate.A real drivers car.
