This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

  • A blast from the past - 2005 Chrysler 300

This car truly deserves to be a Chrysler 300. It has great pickup at all speeds, fine brakes and outside of an early recall which took 20 muntes to fix, it is a dream. Car draws more looks and raves than any I have ever owned.

Although I purchased the car for its performance and incorporation of M-B technology, I appreciate the admiring glances and compliments it continues to get. It is surprisingly economical for a large sedan with such power, and the heralded transition from 4 cylinders to 8 is indeed seamless. Most of my driving is on highways, and that is where the 300C really shines. It can cruise effortlessly at triple digit speeds in silent comfort. Great car!

Needs lockable console compt. Only getting 11-12 mpg in town, acceleration grabs when given gas, needs diferent tires upgraded, needs tinted side windows darker. It is a fun car to drive, outside of suvs and pickups, this is the first regular car I have bought since a new 1964 Pontiac gto with 3 duces, so I am really feeling young again. Chrysler has a real keeper here!!! Keep it up!!!

Everytime I return to my car in public parking there are people admiring it and asking questions. I say the car matches my personality. Aggressive, fast, yet highly sophisticated! People usually walk away at that point! I doubt Ferrari owners get this level of attention!

Overall this car is the best car yet!!! i am very satisfied with its exterior and interior looks. the only thing is that when stopped at a red light is sometimes shakes like it wants to turn off. that is something that others drivers have expressed as well to me.

  • Chryslers Accord/Camry Beater? - 2005 Chrysler 300

I comparison-shopped against the 4 Cyl Accord EX and 4 Cyl Camry LE. I did this because these competitors were within inches in the critical headroom, legroom, and shoulder room and matched the base 2.7Ls 0-60 time of around 10 seconds. (actually, because both the Toyota and Honda are lighter cars with 5-Speed Automatics, even with less horsepower they were quicker by almost a second). So why the 300? Because driving the Toyota is as satisfying as driving a refrigerator. The Honda felt a little more like a "drivers car", but looks like my sisters car. The 300 looks, feels, and drives, even in the base model, like a driving machine.

Overall I have been wowed by this stylish and fun to drive car. It has alot of power and it feels like you are in a very fast sports car without all the noise. Mine is loaded and I love all the comforts. The upgraded sound system is worth the money. You cant buy an aftermarket system that compares. It is very roomy for the whole family. I can fit evrything I used to load in the back of my SUV into the truck, its huge. I have only noticed one starnge thing, in the winter when I start it up it sometimes shakes a bit like it wants to die and then it warms up. The Chrysler 300C has surpassed all my expectations.

this is a really nice ride. ive have changed a few things. the grill of course. put some new wheels on (TSI) and added a full wood grain kit (JAPANESE CHERRYWOOD) along with chrome pillars and door handles. now it sits alone. get all the comps all the time.

  • As Good as it Looks - 2005 Chrysler 300

Bought the car in Sep 04, have about 4500 miles on it, NO REGRETS! A great car at a good price. Excellent handling, lots of power (even without the HEMI), lots of room, comfortable, great looks. Everything is laid out well and interior seems very durable. Car will fit anybody with seat, pedal and steering wheel adjustments. It is a BIG car....much more so than it looks from the outside. Interior noise is minimal and the ride is ultra smooth. Easy to speed in this car as it rides so smooth and quiet. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a lower cost luxury car with good looks, lots of room and lots of power.

  • WE FOUND OUR DREAM CAR - 2005 Chrysler 300

The seductive exterior of our C is not a lie. The experience of driving, no not just driving, entering the car, slipping into the seats, hitting the button that gives us our driver choices, keeps our spirits bubbly. When driving could become a mere mode of getting to our chosen location, this car makes it an occasion. The Sirius radio gives you music to fit any mood with news at the touch of the button and sound quality is superb. A refined instument cluster is clean in appearance but has the solid look of class. My husband fell in love with the Chrysler 300C at first sight. I tried not to get excited about getting one, but driving ours off the lot was a heady sensation. I love it.
