This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

THIS WAS CHRYSLER IN NORTHFIELD NJ ON TILTON ROAD. THEN RIGHT AFTER THAT FOR A AWHILE THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW WONT GO UP AUTOMATICALLY, THEN ONE DAY IT DID SO FAR SO GOOD...

We waited for our 300C to come in and then turned out to be very disappointed. After five times in the shop all for transmission related problems, they finally found the problem which took 10 days to fix. After 30 days in the shop after only six months of ownership, it was time to say goodbye to this car.

Just drove 1350 miles from florida to ny in total comfort. You did not even feel any effort in driving. The response of the vehicle was quick and sure. All instruments were always in view and with many controls on the steering wheel you did not have to look down. Was dring most of the time at 80mph which felt like it was going 50mph.

After doing lengthy research and test driving numerous makes/models, I simply couldnt find a better car for under $30,000 than the Chrysler 300 Touring. Although Ive only had mine for about two weeks now, Ive been extremely impressed so far. Besides its elegant yet sporty exterior design, this car drives great (comfort and performance-wise). Also, lets not forget to mention that I too receive continual compliments from high-end luxury car owners. Prior to deciding on the 300 Touring model, I actually test drove different 300 models with the three available engine sizes, and based upon price and performance, I opted for the 3.5 liter HO engine with the deep-sounding tuned exhaust note.

My AWD C model is a 2006. Im very impressed with this car. I came off a BMW 745i Lease, and this car for almost half the money is so much better with more options. Finally an American car that can keep up with the Europeans. Im so glad I purchased this car, I feel it will have good re-sale value. Im also impressed with the Hemi engine, very smooth, but I wish they would have made some better rumble from the exhaust.
