This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

  • My Opinions on the 300C - 2005 Chrysler 300

I have always been a GM owner and was looking for nice upper level luxury/sport sedan. I didnt like the current trends in styling at GM and was considering a used BMW or Mercedes until I saw the 300C. Elegant styling with performance overtones that does not disapoint. The interior is big even for my 64" size in front or rear seats. The comfort is great with good support in the seats and well thought out controls. The Mercedes influence is very apparent with good handeling and a solid, quiet ride. The american muscle under the hood is well worth the money and makes highway onramps and long trips effortless. With every possible option mine just did break $40k. Great product, great value.

Why consider a bland Lexus ES, a twitchy and cramped Acura TL, or a torque-steering Nissan Maxima when you could spend the same or less and get a fire-breathing, beautifully crafted hot rod? No quality issues yet, but you can see where money was saved--no trunk pull down, no torso airbags (head curtains are an option), and limited color choices, among others. The fuel economy isnt horrific, my combined city/highway is about 23 and the car is in its break in period. Those that complain about their observed economy should realize that they chose to buy a 4,000lb car with a 340h.p. 5.7 liter V-8.

Was considering the CTS, FX35 and RX330...than found my 300C. Was sold the car at invoice with almost all the goodies, and it is amazing. Never gotten off the line like this before, all kinds of looks, thumbs up, etc from passers by. To get anything close to this car at Cady or foreign would have cost me at least another $8-$10K. It has the looks and feel to make you happy, the American nameplate to make you patriotic, and the performance and price to make you proud you bought it.

We get stopped all the time. People love the look of the car. It has been the most fun car that we have ever owned. We have people asking to look inside and just love the entire look of the car. . I did not want a cookie cutter looking car and this really isnt. It is eye catching and the most comforatable car Ive ever been in. We totally love everthing about this car. My husband love the pep it has when he goes to pass on a hill. He feels like it has all the power he was looking for and more. I love that Im very short and this car is really easy for me to reach and see everything.

  • Why I Like my 300C - 2005 Chrysler 300

I just came home from a two month 600 mile trip that was a pleasure. The days that we traveled were 600 mile days and never did I experience any discomfort. The fuel economy was much better than I expected, 28 mpg. Everything worked as expected and the ride was great. Everyone I met thought it was a sharp looking auto. I would recommented this vehicle to anyone.

  • Chrysler 300 C Hemi heaven - 2005 Chrysler 300
    By -

My Chrysler 300 C hemi arrived last week. Fit and finish are exceptional. I am stunned at the quietness of this vehicle. It makes the sound system even more spectacular. I am a 60 year old car buff and have owned many luxury cars and sport cars. This Chrysler is a terrific handling road car and it can be a rocketship when called upon. Time will tell but this car may be the buy of the century. This car gets attention and it bows to nothing out there.
