This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

  • Frickin Awsome!! - 2005 Chrysler 300

Absolutely amazing car. I sold a 2002 MB CL500 and bought the 300c. This car is the absolutely best car value on the market. Great combination of performance, bold styling, features and value. I put on 22" wheels (yes they fit), and an E&G grill. Got more compliments in 2 days in my 300C, than in 2 years in my Mercedes. The car is a real head turner. Was at the store and some guy was actually taking a picture of it with his camera phone. Dropped the kids of at high school and they actually want me to drop them off in front (those of you with teenagers will appreciate this). No dissapointments. The great American Muscle car is BACK!

  • My First Chrysler Ever - 2005 Chrysler 300

This is a car thats fun to drive and still provides a luxury ride. Id rather drive the 300C than my Nissan 300ZX because the 300C would beat the pants off the 300ZX. My only complaint is the drivers seat doesnt provide adequate upper leg support. On long drives leg fatigue sets in.

  • $35,000 Mercedes-Benz E-class? - 2005 Chrysler 300

Competing against cars such as V8 luxury cars but priced at rides such as V6 "upscales" DaimlerChrysler has finally decided to get their feet wet, but the 300C is best-in-class whether "class" be measured by price or statistics IT wins them both! The 300C drives and handles with agility and with silence; the engine has an incredible "purr" at 340-hp with the HEMI. USAToday rates it as "only a bumpy ride away from perfect;" it stands at the top with Lexus! Doors shut with a "vault-like" sound and the ride is perfect. The car is 20% Mercedes- Benz (on value) but it is more!

  • A Real Head Turner - 2005 Chrysler 300

I cant say enough good things about this car. Strangers tell me what a beautiful car it is every time I drive it. It is the smoothest ride imaginable. Both my children instantly fall asleep in the roomy backseat whenever we take a ride. It really is a great value and quite a car.

  • Finally An American Car That Rocks!!! - 2005 Chrysler 300

I traded a 2002 Lincoln Town Car for this 300 C. Im glad I did!! This car is twice the car the Lincoln is. Its so quiet and the ride is great. You cant hear or feel the engine when it goes from 8 to 4. It turns heads everywhere I go.

  • Great car for the Price! - 2005 Chrysler 300

My wife thought I was nuts when I traded in my 2002 Lexus ES300 for this car, but Im glad that I did! This car is great looking and lots of fun to drive. A very classic exterior syle with a grill from the old 300s from the 1950s and a clean retro interior. Everyone makes fun of the interior analog clock but I happen to like it! This car feels more solid than my Lexus and has more "get up and go" power. If you are not careful, you will find yourself cruising at 95 mph and not even feel it. The only negative is the fit and finish is not up to Lexus standards and the quality of the interior matierals could be improved.

  • A Comfortable and Stylish Sedan - 2005 Chrysler 300
    By -

This is one if the finest cars I have owned in the last 20 years. There is a great combination of smooth ride with precise handling. The is like the luxury cars of the past, but with greatly impoved handling qualities. The fit and finish is good, and I have found no defects. The one area that could use some improvement is the interior. There is too much gray plastic on the dash and door panels. However, the leather seats have a nice appearance and are very comfortable. This is one I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable sedan that has great styling.

  • JUST PLAIN FUN - 2005 Chrysler 300
    By -

THE VEHICLE EXCEEDED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS AS FAR AS FUN AND EXCITEMENT. THE BEAUTY OF THE VEHICLE GRABS YOU FIRST, THEN YOU ENTER A COCKPIT WHICH RESEMBLES ANY HIGHLINE AUTO ON THE MARKET. INSTRUMENTATION IS EASY TO USE AND FIND. TRANSMISSION IS SMOOTHER THAN ANY OTHER VEHICLE IVE OWNED AND OF COURSE THE 5.7L HEMI JUST ROCKS WHEN YOU PUNCH THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE.CAN YOU SAY HEMI.
